• Betsy being so infernally pissed off at Andrew for abandoning her on their prom night (even though Andrew had a good excuse), to the point that she chews up and spits out the rose that he got her to say sorry.
  • Earlier in the story, Betsy was announced as being in the Prom Court — at the time, she was in the bathroom crying. So what does she do? She kicks open the stall door and rushes out to accept the title.
