- The Superbowl trailer managed to generate considerable hype by showing footage from Clover's attack on New York, finally confirming that yes, this will be the long-awaited direct sequel. Sort of.
- THE ENDING. After ten long years and a sequel that had aliens in its place what finally pops out of the clouds after our heroes think it's finally over? Either the mother of Clover from the first film or CLOVER ITSELF.
- The reveal of Word of God that the first Clover was actually only a baby had plenty of fans speculating what the adult Clover would look like. And now we know: it's apparently at least two kilometers tall, rising above the cloud layer with ease!
