• The Great Society have a lot of awesome of moments, being a team of very likeable characters:
  • In vol 3, Sun God's inversion of Reed Richard's "everything dies" speech.
  Sun God: Everything lives. It lives before it dies, and we are judged by what we do during that time. Like a brilliant, life-giving star, we illuminate the universe, casting away the shadows. We celebrate life and then celebrate that creation. This is simply how things are. It cannot be contained. It never will. So we will not tolerate - we will not accept - the unnatural occurrence of an early end. Which is why I have summoned you here... to beat back the night... and to conquer death.
  • The fact the Great Society has held back a couple of Incursions without having to resort to heavy measures, including defeating an Ivory King, one of the said powerful Beyonders.
  • One for the Norn, the expy of Dr. Fate. Despite really being a young man who's magic comes from collected artifacts unlike years of practice like Steven Strange, he is able to perform powerful feats of sorcery, including the Words of Power from the Black Preists to destory a dead world at the cost of two of his potential futures. And despite the fact that he is putting a colossal strain on himself, he still valiantly keeps going to perform the magic needed.
  • The fight between the Great Society and the Illuminati. Up until Dr. Strange summoned an Eldritch Abomination at the cost of the last bits of goodness in his soul to destory the Great Society, the Great Society maintained the upper hand:
    • The Sun God keeping up with the Hulk in combat and defeating him.
    • The Batman expy, the Rider fighting to a stalemate against Black Panther, with the latter fully admitting that the Rider may be the superior fighter. This, despite the Black Panther possessing the collective knowledge, power and abilities of the entire Black Panther line.
    • The Flash expy Boundless trounces Iron Man, due to the fact that she can think and act at the speed of light, all while calling him out.
    • Another one for the Norn. Despite being at half power at most, he is able to keep up in magical combat against enhanced Dr. Strange.
    • Other moments include Dr. Spectrum outpacing Black Bolt and managing to survive getting hit by his voice along with the Jovian giving a "Reason You Suck" Speech to Namor. Also counts as a form of Foreshadowing considering what happens to Namor later on.
• Sunspot's actions over the Time Skip: After Steve decides to focus on trying to take out the Illuminati instead of saving the world, Sunspot leaves the Avengers, buys out AIM, and uses their vast resources to find out just who caused the incursions. In the process every Avenger not on board with Steve partners up with him and by the time of Time Runs Out, he has a team of the strongest avengers ready to due what it takes to stop the Beyonders, while Sunspot takes the rest of the avengers to Knock some sense into Steve and Tony.
