• Yue Jhinzao's first showcasing of how he reacts to his left eye showing him visions of the future where he's placed in life-or-death situations: He adopts a Screw Destiny attitude and works out plans on how to get out of each one. The first example is after opening a trapped chest in the cult's secret base in the Sunset Tribe village. After triggering the trap, he wall runs to get away from several poison arrows being shot from the wall, then uses his swords to deflect the rest fired from the rear wall that he doesn't bother dodging.
• Ju Shifang gets a Big Damn Hero moment when the party is incapacitated by a poison that prevents them from mustering the energy they need for their martial arts and are basically at Gao Xiao's mercy, but Beancurd can still be controlled. While the bear only ends up being a momentary distraction, it ends up buying enough time for Qing Xian to take the antidote and scare the cultists away.
• When Qilli Xiaoyuan accidentally knocks Jinzhao off of a cliff, Qi's first action is to immediately jump off after him. Despite the two of them ending up with broken bones, they make their way back up the river and even manage to fight off an attack from one of Gao Xiao's monsters before succumbing to their wounds.
• Jinzhao has had enough of some other True Martial Alliance members badmouthing Shifang and challenges them to a fight to defend Shifang's honor. After he and Shifang win, another one of the Alliance Altar Leaders chastises the members for their past attitude and gives them a reminder that the martial arts incorporate a strong brain as well as body. It also becomes a moment of Defeat Means Friendship as Qu Ximing begins to see that's Shifang's ability to figure out mechanisms and the compassion he shows to their fallen enemies is worthy of respect.
• Xian Qing's Big Damn Hero moment after Ying Xuwei proves to be a Hopeless Boss Fight: In wolf form, he creates a big gust of wind to carry the party to safety before Gao Xiao can close the door. The rest of the party immediately opens the door back up to return the favor.
  Ying Xuwei: Why are you doing this?
  Xian Qing: Because I wanted to.
• The entire battle against Ying Long, starting with Jinzhao and Shifang acting as decoys to keep him distracted while flying around the Floating Peaks, dodging or countering his attacks while Xian and Zhaoyan retrieve the spell capable of killing him. Even when the spell fails, the party goes in for a direct assault, having to fight him twice to finally take him down for good.
  Yue Qi: Annoying dragon, shut up and die already!
• Ju Shifang's Heroic Sacrifice has him go out with style: He challenges Shuo Xuan to single combat, gets her angry enough to remember her original threat of killing him if he came within ten steps of her, grabs onto her arm after she tries to throw him aside after a Neck Lift, injects Qi's blood into her, and goes out by detonating a bomb he had on him to kill himself and heavily wound her.
