Awesome / Say Yes to the Dress

• In almost every version of the Atlanta show, the brides' overbearing mothers often take over and boss their daughters and the cast around. But an episode of the Atlanta show featured a Sassy Black Woman bride whose mother and companions were such meddling assholes and treated her and everyone else so badly... that she got completely fed up, stopped trying on dresses, told her whole group off for their controlling behavior and walked out of the store, telling Monte that she'd return alone later. The show is completely on the bride's side, with Monte telling the stunned smother and the audience that the woman's decision was the right one.
  • Also points towards Monte quieting down the entourage during their chants with a graceful "Ladies!". Monte is Beware the Nice Ones personified.
• In one particular show, a young lady comes in looking for a black wedding dress. Lori's reaction? Gasp and turn to Monty and whisper "I love her!" in delight.
