** One for Divatox: the moment she learns where the Power Chamber is she sets up a methodic attack that utterly and completely keeps the Rangers unable to stop her Piranatrons and Elgar from blowing up the place with them inside, and ''nothing'' can stop them. The strong gates? They have a battering ram, plus ropes to climb the Chamber and just enter from the air vents above. Lightning Bruiser and Storm Blaster intervene and prevent the sneaking in? They have nets and capture them. The Rangers could teleport away to fight another day if they see they can't win? Not with the console controlling the teleportation they can't. Dimitria could come back and expel the intruders at any moment? Elgar smashed her tube precisely to prevent that. The Rangers are actually fighting the Piranathrons off? The Piranathrons' goal wasn't to kill them anyway but to distract them while Elgar placed the bombs, killing any of them in the fight was just a bonus. Elgar can't confirm they're dead? Divatox orders everyone to scour the place, [[NeverFoundTheBody because if they don't see the bodies better assume they're alive]]. The only reason they survived was that Dark Specter called her away right before the Piranathrons could find the Rangers.

No meta example, see this query.

* A meta example- the Phantom Ranger managed to be in the Top 5 of Morphin Madness (a contest where fans could vote for their favorite rangers in a special Ranger Key set). He's there alongside Jen from ''Time Force'', Jason and Tommy (White Ranger) from ''MMPR'' and Ryan from ''Lightspeed Rescue''.

* Even considering that "The Turn of the Wretched Wrench" is ADayInTheLimelight for Ashley, she’s particularly impressive throughout the episode. She gets two pretty good action scenes against a crowd of Piranhatrons while un-morphed, gets into a great fight with the MonsterOfTheWeek while they’re in a moving car, leads the CurbStompBattle against the enlarged monster (knocking him down with the Megazaord and then blowing him away GunsAkimbo style in about thirty seconds), and then demonstrates the auto repair skills she learned over the episode's subplot by fixing Bulk and Skull’s broken truck in under a minute.

* Practically everything about General Havoc, such as how formidable his {{Kaiju}}-patterned mech is against the Rangers (even when they each have their own Zord) and the way he schemes to capture the Phantom Ranger to steal his power instead of just fighting him and cleverly disguises himself as a captive Cassie to set a trap.

* In "Drive to Win" Ashley, who at this point is an InnocentBystander cheerleader with little prior screen time and no combat experience, grabs a water cooler and smacks a Piranhatron that is attacking the soccer game.
* In "Cars Attack", Elgar, Rygog and the MonsterOfTheWeek launch a combined energy attack that is something to see and knocks the Rangers off their feet.

Sure, Turbo is pretty much middle-of-the-road, but it does have its moments, such as:
* The sheer SugarWiki/VisualEffectsOfAwesome from the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgmCi-qnLOI Megazord formation in the movie]], which appears to use a [[OffTheShelfFX heavily touched-up toy version]]; extra points for the ''flame jets'' that erupt as the ''Turbo'' theme blares, hoisting the Megazord up and ready to face off against a ''friggin lava demon''.
** The formation in the series isn't as visually spectacular, but it's still awesome: with the ''Turbo'' theme going, the Turbo Zords pretty much smash into each other. The Rangers insert their Morpher keys, and [[PedalToTheMetalShot slam on]] [[BrakeAngrily their brakes]]. The wheels lock up and the whole Megazord stands up from the ''sheer momentum''. They simply let gravity do the work for them as the head unfolds and the chestpiece slides up. You can even see sparks spraying from presumably the metal scraping along the ground as the Megazord raises upwards.

** General Norquist, the base commander himself, kind of deserves props. By all accounts, he should not have believed this ragged looking kid who claims the Power Rangers need their state-of-the-art space shuttle, and without any evidence to prove it beyond...whatever he said. But as soon as he hears that [[SomethingOnlyTheyWouldSay they need it to travel to Eltar]], he doesn't hesitate one bit. But in believing the word of this child, [[RiddleForTheAges whatever that word was]], he inadvertently grants the universe an amazing amount of time. Considering the Space Rangers were already struggling and constantly on the defensive as they were, up to the end, without Norquist's contribution, imagine if the four former Turbo Rangers never got to travel into space to meet up with Andros...
SmallRoleBigImpact indeed.

* The Rescue Turbo Megazord formation's sole fight against Count Nocturne in "Carlos and the Count". Carlos declares, "You may have bitten me, but I will never fight on the side of evil!" right before the Megazord's sword chops Nocturne's weapon in half, and then he summons the artillery cannons. The music accompanying the fight adds just the right touch, especially the riff that plays as the Rescue Turbo Megazord takes the villain's "Now I'm mad!" attack without flinching and Carlos blasts the Count into oblivion.

** This after getting word that [[OffscreenMomentOfAwesome Eltar, Zordon's home planet, has fallen and Zordon himself has been captured.]]
** Goldgoyle himself gets an honorable mention in this episode, as he became the first villain to single-handedly destroy a Megazord, as well as damage another one so badly that it had to be self-destructed. ** The [[TheScrappy much-maligned Justin]] gets one, too: he sneaks into the NASADA base, gets all the way to the command center, and manages to talk the base commander into letting the other Rangers onto a shuttle to venture out and try to do ''something'' to stem the coming tide, despite flying blind and totally unarmed... and, ''end scene''.
