Season 2
- In "The Tell," Oliver is able to figure out Alice's entire backstory through playing a simple party game. Namely, Oliver is able to determine what her "tell" is when she's lying, and is quickly able to deduce her history.
- The whole staged killer reveal party which is done so intentionally poorly that it gets the real killer to out themselves.
Season 3
- Detective Williams’ first appearance this season combines Incoming Ham and Astonishingly Appropriate Interruption to make quite an impact:Loretta: (in character) Who goes there?
Williams: (bursting through the stage door) NYPD, motherfuckers! - Charles finally gets the hang of his patter song, and performs it without a hitch
. Becomes doubly so when it’s revealed that his motivation was to distract Det. Williams and her team, planting the idea to watch it in her head so Oliver could plant a camera in their makeshift interrogation room.
