• Gonzo's people coming back for him. Gonzo has been waiting his whole life wondering who he is and where he comes from, and if there are any others like him...and never getting an answer. The mothership lands, disco and funk start playing, and Gonzo is proved You Are Not Alone on two fronts in the most awesomely fashionable way possible.
• Out of all the characters, Bobo is the one who ultimately saves Gonzo and the aliens at the climax.

• When Dr. Van Neuter discovers Rizzo attempting to free Gonzo by chewing through the straps restraining him:
  Van Neuter: Oh, good lord! A rat! I hate rats!
  Bubba: (smacking a cotton swab against his palm) Then today ain't your lucky day, doc.
