  • Arguably Jack stealing Agent Mosley's badge while being intimidated by him.
  • Jack tracking down Mardukas when the police and cops can't, bluffing him into surrendering himself while trapped in a shower.
  • The Duke managing to bluff that he's afraid of flying.
  • Jack chasing and catching the Duke during both the biplane and train escape attempts (in spite of the obvious stunt doubles).
  • The shootout with the snipers.
  • Marvin tracking Jack by pretending to be him when calling the credit card company.
  • The Duke robbing Serrano of his money in the backstory.
  • Marvin decking the two mob thugs who are about to shoot Jack and the Duke so he can take them in himself.
  • The bus ticket clerk seeing through Jack's fake badge-flashing by pointing out that his name isn't Mosely.
  • One of the Bit Character FBI agents spying on Eddie's office is observant enough to notice how Jerry keeps slipping down to the payphone, letting the FBI figure out that Jerry is in the mob’s pocket and arrest him later.
  • Marvin and Jack's shootout with the mob killers in the helicopter.
  • In a somewhat sleazy way, the Duke's bluff to "confiscate" the supposedly counterfeit money in a cash register. He really acts like a stern FBI agent.
  • When The Duke tries his fear of flying bluff against Marvin, the bounty hunter simply advises him to relax and then punches him out so he can't raise a fuss.
  • Tony the mob thug recognizing the hotel name on the towels in the photograph that Marvin shows.
  • Jack's whole plan to recover the Duke and take down Serrano, especially considering that he comes up with it within seconds of realizing that Marvin is going to give The Duke to Serrano. He calls Serrano's goons and (based on a brief conversation that he had with the Duke) bluffs that he has incriminating computer disks about all of the mob's money laundering, and demands that Serrano himself make the exchange. As he explains, just by trying to take the disks, Serrano is committing an act of criminal conspiracy whether the disks are genuine or not. Jack is also savvy enough to guess that Serrano will try to kill him and the Duke, and tells Mosely that they can arrest him for attempted murder if he and his men come with guns. Then he uses this to get Mosely to drop the charges against him and let him turn in the Duke himself for the reward. Again, all of this, Jack came up with in the seconds that it took him to hang up on Eddie and dial Joey the mobster.
  • Jack letting The Duke go at the end.
