• The Madison Square Garden farewell show on April 2nd, 2011, definitely fits. A nearly four-hour set featuring the Epic Rocking that is "45:33" and bringing down the house at the end with "New York, I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down." Truly the end of an era.
• The release of the ballad "Christmas Will Break Your Heart" was a huge Christmas surprise to the fanbase, and before anyone knew it, LCD Soundsystem was an entity again.
