  • Chapter 1: After three years of suffering, Keitaro decides to leave the Hinata Inn for his own sake, ignoring Hina's pleas not to leave.
  • Chapter 2: Naru and Motoko attack Keitaro yet again. This doesn't deal any serious damage to him as he blows this off as if it were nothing, and refuses to apologize for their bad behavior.
  • Chapter 3: When all the girls show up to confront him about leaving, Keitaro doesn't show any fear and refuses to back down.
    • To top it all off, he breaks up with Naru.
  • Chapter 4: He proceeds to outline exactly why he's leaving, calling each one out on how they've hurt him.
  • Chapter 5: Granny Hina actually lays down the law with the girls for once, informing a shocked Naru and Motoko that they WILL be respectful to Keitaro's father/her son while he's visiting.
    • Shinobu growing a spine by calling out Naru and Motoko's hypocrisy in front of everyone, specifically pointing out how Motoko, despite insisting Keitaro was nothing but a worthless pervert, was still willing to pretend he was her fiance when it suited her.
    • Seta again calls Naru out for attacking Keitaro for simply being honest about how horribly she treats him.
  • Chapter 6: Nanami and Kanako call out Shinobu and Mutsumi, pointing out that while they may not have directly bullied Keitaro, they still allowed the others to abuse him rather than standing up for him.
  • Chapter 7: Nanami tells Hina off for manipulating Keitaro, and makes it clear that she isn't going to allow the girls to hurt him anymore.
    • When Hina tries to defend the girls, Kanako rips into her for neglecting to inform Keitaro about the changes she'd made to the Inn before he arrived. She didn't let him know how she'd changed it into an all-girls dorm with troubled tenants because she was more concerned about what SHE wanted him to do, and wouldn't let him make informed decisions about his future.
    • Kanako confronting Suu on being a selfish brat, and trying to force Keitaro to come back, calling her a stupid idiot (despite Suu being a mechanical genius) for not seeing or admitting why Keitaro left.
  • Chapter 9: Seta is scornful of Naru, disliking her bad attitude towards Keitaro, such as her habit of jumping to conclusions whenever it comes to him. • Haruka counters by telling Marumi to lay off Keitaro.
    • Marumi continues by telling off Hina for what a big mess she caused by trying to manipulate Keitaro, pointing out that, if Keitaro knew the truth, he wouldn't be so forgiving.
  • Chapter 12: Keitaro holding his own against Nagisa in a sparring match, impressing her enough for her to offer to train him. This is made even more impressive when you realize that, while Keitaro had practiced martial arts for a short time, he had never really done kendo before, while Nagisa has been training since she was little.
  • Chapter 13: Keitaro refusing to budge, pointing out that Hina never told him important details like the fact that the inn had converted into a girls dorm. When Hina reveals that she knew all along of his promise girl in an attempt to get him to change his mind, he angrily rejects Hina, calls her a cruel person for keeping it a secret, and sends her away defeated.
    • Shinobu telling the other tenants that she hates them for their crap, refusing to leave when Motoko slaps her and not running away when Naru was going to beat her up.
    • Marumi getting the deed from Haruka, which causes Hina's plans to further blow up in her face.
  • Chaper 14: Keitaro telling Naru it is not his problem if Marumi goes through with her threat to kick the girls out of the inn. When Naru tries to counter by telling him who his promised girl is, he turns around and he reveals that he already knew, and thinks that Granny is a cruel person to hide it from him. When threatened, he refuses to take that back, pointing out that her cruelty is the truth. In response, Naru tries to punch Keitaro when his back is turned, only for Keitaro to quickly turn around and block her punch without even trying, calling her a thug, and embarrassing her by pointing out that there are other people around.
    • Haruka stopping Naru from beating up Shinobu and Kitsune, showing some moral fiber, and disapproving of Naru and Motoko's actions.
    • Marumi telling the tenants that she will kick them out, and there's nothing they can do about it.

After she derides his more than justified anger at her and the other former inn residents as just 'acting like a child, he snaps and tells her he wants nothing to do with her. When Mutsumi faints in response, instead of rushing to help her like before, Keitaro just left her a note to see a doctor.
    • Shinobu casually saying the tenants were doomed to be kicked out leaving everyone in shock.
    • Yoshinari mocking Hina when she says that she cares about everyone by sarcastically asking her if she did intend to tell Keitaro about the changes at the inn, but it slipped her mind. When Naru and Motoko threaten him in response, Yoshinari doesn't back down and is more than willing to fight them. He also hands out their eviction notices.
    • Kitsune trying to stop Naru from continuing to do stupid things.
    • Nagisa rejecting Mayako's nonsense reasons for inviting Kagura, Takeru's killer, to his grave.
    • Ranma making an appearance, showing that he too had escaped his troubles.

    • Seta putting his foot down on Sarah's bad behavior.
    • Marumi evicting everyone.
    • Marumi cutting down Seta for trying to manipulate Keitaro so that Seta could get to Haruka.
    • Saori cutting down Hina over the fact that Hina promised to help Naru change for the better, but instead she failed.
    • Saori also telling the ever delusional Mutsumi that Naru didn't get better because of the promise and the fabled magic of the Hinata Inn. Rather, it was the work of surgery done by a specialist that young Naru was healthy. Followed by Haruka telling Mutsumi that she's no different from Seta, making promises without the other's consent and expecting them to go along with it, despite Naru being only two years old and too young to remember, and Keitaro not even aware of Mutsumi switching the promise around.

    • Shakiko seeing through the fact that Hina is hiding something from her.
  • Chapter 19: Keitaro shows off his chick magnet ability once again: by just putting his hand on Nagisa's shoulder, and telling her that he cares about her, he causes Nagisa to be briefly stunned, and then smile at him. Moreover he had Nagisa bashfully ask him if he wanted to spend the day with her, and although he was shy himself, Keitaro quickly accepted, showing more confidence in himself than he usually does.
    • Keitaro also detected Naru when she was eavesdropping on him and Seta. Noteworthy as Seta, a martial arts expert, didn't realize Naru was there until Keitaro pointed it out while Keitaro had known she was there since the moment she arrived.

Isana deals with them personally, as they had come to try and force Ranma to come back. Isana fights barehanded against Nodoka, who uses a Katana, winning the fight with no injuries to herself, though she breaks Nodoka's arm. Before the fight Isana also boasted that Ranma wouldn't be upset with her for she was going to do to Nodoka, and she was right, see below.
    • Ranma mocking Nodoka (someone who scared him before with her Seppuku pledge) by saying that fighting Isana was a idiotic move, laughing at her attempt to force him back to Nerima.
      • Ranma also reveals that Kasumi (who tried to 'sweet talk' him into coming back), Nabiki (who tried blackmailing him), and Akane (who tried to force him) came before them and he dealt with them all. • Shinobu standing up to her mother on staying with her aunt Yukina.
  • Chapter 26: When Amalla tried to blame Keitaro for Su's action, Keitaro rightfully told her that it's Su own fault.
    • Keitaro has gained a subtle one when he was being kidnapped; Kagura complained how heavy he was and Mutsumi guessed he has been working out. The reason it was a crowning moment for Keitaro was because he is always portrayed as average build, the fact he gained muscle enough to give somebody a problem with trying to lift him shows how much he's grown.
    • Shinobu using reasoning and logic to explain why she will not go with her mother or father and instead tried to make peace between them.
  • Chapter 27: Keitaro, despite being tied up, refuses to be scared, telling Naru, Mutsumi, Chisato, and Kagura off for how they are. His only concern at this point is about Nagisa’s and Yoshinari's well-being.
    • Keitaro also states that, while he and Naru are screw-ups, he is at least willing to admit it and try to improve while Naru acts like she is always right even when she's not. When Naru pummels him, his only reaction is to ask if she feels good about herself and spitefully spits out blood despite being bruised.

Amalla simply agrees to this and sighs in defeat.

      • A retrospective one for Koshiro as he was the one who confronted her on the phone.
    • Yoshinari getting under Chisato's skin when she tried to torment him with Keitaro's capture. It is all but stated that although he was sent to the hospital, Yoshinari did make sure to return the favor against them in that fight. He did it once more by beating up the thugs along with Keitaro and Nagisa.
    • Mayako sacrificing herself to make sure Kagura and Akemi paid for causing Takeru's death. Also she gave evidence to take Kagura's father down.
    • Tamaki and Nagisa confronting the former's brother on helping Kagura and Chisato out.
