And it is truly a glorious moment, the mighty beasts towering hundreds of feet high as they trek across the Amoebic Sea like ships sailing across the ocean. It's no wonder Barlowe describes their presence as "very humbling"."This was indeed the bizarre animal whose existence had catalyzed the formation of the Expedition.
