  • In the first scenario named after the game, the battle against Bee qualifies. As you're about the face Darking to stop him, Bee will test your strength to see if you're fit to do it. He offers a good challenge as he's one of the few bosses that like the player characters has a unblockable special move and he's also the first opponent to introduce feints in attacks. Also, unlike most duels in the game, his struggle duel actually features Moth in it instead of a generic model meant to represent the player character. To top the whole thing, Fight of the Humble Bee plays during the fight.
  • The battle against Darking starting with the epic battle theme Sublime Intervention just in case you didn't realized it was the end of the game. Once again we get some customized duel picture featuring both Darking and Moth struggling against each other instead of a generic player model. As Darking is offering a good challenge, his selection of attacks changes as he talk to you, questioning how well founded your actions are and if defeating him will really improve the world, the whole thing being supplemented by artwork of the determined faces of both characters.
  • Even though most of it is a Curb-Stomp Battle, the battle against Possessed Darking. To show how overpowered your opponent is, the duels you face, while technically doable, have their difficulty dialed up while The Darkest Inflection plays. It culminate in Moth having to survive the most damaging attack in the game named KILLFORCE (which too features Moth in it instead of a generic character model) while Ant Queen tries to reach to Darking which eventually succeeds but only for a small while. When it becomes clear that Darking can't be saved, Ant Queen ends the whole thing by shooting a portal through the seemingly invincible opponent. But wait, there's more! After, that battle, you now have to escape the castle as the whole thing is now catching fire while Sublime Intervention plays one more time, the whole thing ending with a nice cutscene.
  • In scenario 2A Ghostly Mystery Butterfly ends up having to fight Lost Moth. As the fight is about to end, Moth uses his signature move Hurricane Slice, which is an unblockable 2 damage and the norm from bosses with such special attacks, for the second time... except that Butterfly just grabs Moth's blade with his boxing gloves, stopping the attack and using the occasion to bring back Moth to his senses.
  • The ending of scenario 2A in general as after punching his way out, Butterfly beats the crap up of Possessor (which he is incredulous about the whole thing)) and just looks badass afterward.
  • The final part of scenario 2B, Lost. To go in details, due to his inner darkness, Moth falls under the influence and control of Possessor and ends up facing his dark side. He eventually wins which allows him with a bit of help from Butterfly to regain control of himself which leads to Possessor starting to freak out and having to resort using his true form. Then, Butterfly and Moth team up to take down the Possessor Demon to the sound of Scale These Castle Walls for an epic final battle. Despite having a ton of HPs, the Possessor Demon loose them twice as fast due to him facing our heroes at once. And for the finale, a unique portrait of both Moth and Butterfly is used for the final duel.
  • Freepy Castle has a unique final boss shortly after Moth is taken care of. After the player character ends up in another world...
?????: What a stunning performance! You've done well in this exercise. I've had my eyes in you for a long time...so I picked you for this elaborate simulation.
Player takes three steps to the right.
?????: It seems your destiny is tangled at a crucial juncture in the webs of fate... Your abilities and capacity to improvise make it obvious that you truly are up to the task.
Player takes three steps to the right.
?????: However, there remains one final test...
Player takes three steps to the right and right up to a puppet monstrosity that is literally named ?????.
?????: Let me see if you can truly hold up against all the might you were fated to bear!
    • Luvaci's story in Freepy Castle as a whole. It gives the player a chance to go deeper into the story of Luvaci, and Molt, a minor character from the first scenario, gets a major role here if you select Luvaci.
    • Also in Freepy Castle, Slugger, a minor boss, also gains the major role treatment in his own story in Freepy Castle. Even more so that he finally gains the opportunity to rematch Moth, with Slugger winning this time.
    • The second Free Play mode involves Moth getting kidnapped. It's up to...one of the player characters to save Moth. If you pick Luvaci, one of the two new bosses from Freepy Castle, you can simply have a cowardly bug holding a pipe go through the whole thing, while bosses fall left and right. Even more awesome if Luvaci manages to take down Possessor and Possessor Demon.
  • The True Final Boss of the entire Creepy Castle storyline that is fought in The Final Fist. After fighting three ghosts of the previous final bosses in one go while inside the meteor, Ant Queen enters one final door...to reveal the final boss to end all final bosses of the game, Possessor Apollyon. The fight that ensues has The Destroyer playing, as well as Ant Queen receiving a unique way of damaging it at some points by using red items that appear in the inventory, as well as white healing items. She also gains a unique portrait for the entire story mode, including this true final battle. Ultimately, thanks to her using these items and avoiding using the blue ones that damage her (as well as realizing the ability to overcome this beast) she defeats Possessor Apollyon (thus blowing up the meteor) and saves everyone! Yes, Ant Queen, a character that appears as a boss in the first scenario of the game, defeats a being that is Possessor's soul. Not even the battle against Possessor Demon or the battle against ????? can top the battle with Ant Queen fighting against Possessor Apollyon!
  • The True Final Boss of the entirety of Creepy Castle after getting 20 eggs is Dopplebugger, who is fought in Free Depths. His battle has Untrue Reality playing and is shown to be good at the majority of the duels shown in his fight. It's an epic battle from start to finish, even if it takes a few attempts to do so. Beating him also grants you the "Champion" achievement.
