Go To

  • In the first arc Su Lüxia successfully takes revenge on the cruel emperor and his murderous consort who he abandoned by letting the consort meet him alone, she then kills him then herself while Lüxia keeps her hands clean.
  • Second arc: Su Lüxia turns the tables on her hosts ex-boyfriend, revealing that he is also cheating on his new girlfriend. He loses his favorable connections and dies alone while she gives her host success.
  • In the third arc she gives the cheaters exactly what they asked for, freedom with the condition of the removal of their powers and connections. But unlike in the original story where they were rich and happy after they betrayed the vampires and humans causing everyone to die, this time they were exiled with no money. Without riches to solve all their problems they end up begging to be taken back, only to be ignored.
  • In the fourth arc, Su Lüxia guilt trips her host's husband Liang Qun, by pretending to be a supportive and loving wife who just wants for him and his mistress to be happy. By the end of the arc, Liang Qun comes to terms with how much of a scumbag he was and decides to leave his household to her out of guilt after their divorce.
  • Yun Ling not falling for any of Su Mingyue's schemes in the eighth arc. For example, when Su Mingyue tries ruin her half-sister's reputation by telling him that she beat her. Yun Ling calls out her bluff by saying that no one would be stupid enough to hurt their sister born from a concubine a day before entering the palace and leave an obvious wound and then he deduces that her wounds were self-inflicted.
  • Su Lüxia in general has a lot of awesome moments to herself, with some of her best moments being the times she doesn't forgive the criminals just because they have sad backstories or tiny moments of kindness. This includes turning a mob boss in even if he likes her personally, because he still killed lots of innocent people.
  • Su Lüxia is forced to share a body with her brainless host, who wants to forgive her murderous husband who killed her whole family over a misunderstanding. She gets around the issue of her host undoing all her work when they trade bodies every twelve hours by faking insanity to make sure no one will believe what she says.
    • Shortly afterwards, she helps an officer escape by convincing him to take her hostage.
    • Finally, after a long chase and a near death for the officer, she successfully lures the villain into a trap and has him arrested.
