• The visual effects in the 2013 re-release of "Heaven-Piercing Giga Drill" are fantastic.
  • On that note, the line "Who the hell do you think we are?"... screamed by hundreds of Area 11 fans all at once.
• One for the Elevens. Originally, Area 11 did not release the single of "Heaven-Piercing Giga Drill" on iTunes, instead releasing it only on Bandcamp. At the urging of several fans, the group decided to put it to them all, asking for 1,111 retweets on Twitter, meaning that for around ever 24 or so people that follow them, one would have to retweet. They accomplished that goal in around 5 hours. Crosses over with Heartwarming Moment as well.
• In one of the interviews in this video, Sparkles* actually states that the asterisk in his name is meant to lead to a footnote... that will be written on his grave. He seems to be dead serious about this. (For reference, it's the moment between 43:39 and 44:16 in the video.)
• Sparkles* and Martyn getting a shoutout from Lady Gaga. No, really.
• Modern Synthesis officially made it into the UK charts, peaking at #27 in the Albums chart. The subsequent exposure has since seen them appear on television stations such as Scuzz and launch a huge tour in the last part of 2016!
