• "What if they were telepathic throughout the series?":
  • Tobias is able to send his pain and fear back to Taylor, much to her shock.
  • The ending. The Animorphs use up all their mental strength to help Rachel fight the morph-controllers on the Blade Ship, while Alloran defends them from the remaining controllers on the Pool Ship. And Rachel and Tom both live!
• The entire climax of "What if they were caught during their first mission?" is a string of awesome moments for several characters. As soon as Cassie allows Rachel and Jake to escape, Rachel decides to get her revenge by morphing an octopus monster that Visser Three was going to acquire. She kills several Controllers and frees a dozen Hork-Bajir, who then fight back while one opens more and more cages. Meanwhile, Jake instantly acts as a leader to the escapees. Ax fights off several Hork-Bajir-Controllers at once with his tailblade. Marco kills Visser Three. Finally, mirroring his Heroic Sacrifice in the first book, Tom turns back to rescue his mother and Sarah.
• In "What if Tom's yeerk got the morphing cube from David first?", Tom's Yeerk starts to Body Surf into Jake. Just when all hope seems lost, the real Tom rips the Yeerk out of his ear and saves them both.
• The ending of "What if there was a zombie apocalypse?". The Ellimist offers to resurrect the Animorphs' families and take them to another planet, just like in The Stranger... but they refuse.
  Jake: Go fuck yourself. It’s our planet, and we’ll fight for it to the very last man.
• "What if Eva was never a controller?" has a scene where Eva catches David stealing money from her and Peter, and tells him off for it. David, being David, responds by morphing into a lion and threatening her life, to which she stays cool the whole time and causes him to lose his nerve first.
