Tropes:
- Everyone Can See It: Sky seems aware of Margo's crush on the viewer when she notes Margo will join the play if the viewer joins, and Julia the school council President asks them not to let her down. Winter is more direct, pointing out that everyone knows about the viewer and Margo's crushes on each other and gets them to ask her out.
- I Want My Beloved to Be Happy: Faye seems interested in the viewer, but accepts their crush on Margo.
- The Nicknamer:
- Margo calls the viewer Bookie, and refers to Winter as Snow.
- Faye refers to the viewer as Bunny.
- Non-Indicative Name: Winter wonders why Margo calls the viewer Bookie, and points out that he is not actually a bookworm. Margo claims to not the way the look at her over a book.
- Overcomplicated Menu Order: Margo orders a large cookie crumble frappe, white mochoa, whipped cream, and chocolate drizzle at the cafe date.
- Spoiled Brat: Ava is a rich girl who uses her father's wealth to get away with everything.

- Twice Shy: Margo acts very nervous around the viewer due to her crush, and the viewer needs to be convinced by Winter to ask her out. Margo panics when she finds out how public her crush on the viewer is, but accepts the date offer.
- Yandere: Lily offer the viewer to pull a prank on Ava, and knocks out them with chloroform and ties them up when they are not willing.
