As Luna and Lillie progress through the UB Dimension, Luna stops to stare at a... tree?, upon which is Guzma. He reminds us that he's the leader of Team Skull and he's never been afraid of anyone in his whole life. However, he has something of the most vital urgency to tell us, and it is absolutely imperative that we listen.

"Y'all are stupid!"

Guzma reasserts his status as our boy by telling us that this plan to try and catch space jellyfish is pretty nuts, especially when they can brainwash you and make you do their bidding.

Unfortunately, Lusamine seems to be into that kind of thing, so Guzma's just going to stay over here where it's less tentacle-y.

Good call, bro.

Up ahead, several jellyfish come together and reveal Lusamine in a choreographed manner.

Jeez, Guzma was right. She is really far gone if she had time to plan something like that.

Lusamine starts talking about how pure the love between her and this tentacle monster is and how we kids are ruining things with our pesky E for Everyone rating.

But, uh, seriously... Lusamine's kind of a terrible person and you and Gladion both ran away from home. If she wants to live in Tentacle Heaven then more power to her. She's not really bothering anyone.

Granted, that might be the jellyfish hivemind talking.

Anyway, Lillie says "Fuck you, mom!" and starts saying that collecting living creatures for your own gain is wrong.

...I, uh... think this might be the wrong series to push that kind o- Y'know what, I'm going to let her finish. She's been waiting the whole game to give this speech.

"How am I different from any Pokemon Trainer, like your little 'friend' there? What do you do with a Pokemon you can't use? You remove it from your party, as you please."

I mean, she's kind of right, though. Sam, please forgive meeee

Anyway, Lusamine's kind of angry at Luna now and opts to solve this the old fashioned way: by becoming a tentacle monster.

Oh Japan. You and your doujin inspiring material.

But seriously, sex jokes aside, what the fuck?

Anyway, fusing with a space jellyfish seems to have turned all of Lusamine's Pokemon into Totem Pokemon.

Great. I didn't think they were annoying enough the first time around.

Despite an annoying start with Clefable buffing its defenses and healing, the battle is actually easier than the first since she hasn't changed her team members and I know how to account for my mistakes last time.

The music is very reminiscent of Etrian Odyssey, too.

Anyway, Lusamine remembers that she's a Pokemon now and tries to use Bitchslap (70 BP) on Lillie and Luna, but then Nebby gets all Skyrim on her.

Lusamine turns back to normal, because tentacle monsters hate sunlight, and then passes out or goes comatose or something after calling Lillie beautiful. This completely makes up for the years of neglect and mental torment!

Anyway, a bunch of space jellyfish, which Lillie decides to call Nihilego all of a sudden, start showing up so Nebby warps everyone back to the Altar of the Sunne.

Lusamine is carried off for treatment by Ya Boi, while Nebby wants to continue traveling with Luna and Lillie. Unfortunately, Lillie's purse isn't hyper dimensional alchemy Sun lion sized, so it'll have to settle for one of Luna's Pokeballs instead.

PRAISE THE SUN!

Solgaleo has Sunsteel Strike, Zen Headbutt, Cosmic Power, and Crunch.

Or so I found out after the battle. Nebby (or Aslan, as he's called now) was perfectly content using Comic Power the whole time and was caught in one Timer Ball.

Afterwards, Lillie says some heartfelt words to Nebby that would probably be more touching were he not in my box at the moment. As it is, that makes things a little awkward.

Ah well.

Afterwards, it turns out Nanu was there the whole time watching over us and he decides to take Luna to Tapu Village if she wants. I plan on exploring more in the postgame, so she takes him up on his offer.

And so, after a quick detour to get the Flying Z-Crystal, Luna begins her climb up Mt. Lanakila!
