And welcome back once again! Hope you've been enjoying it so far. I know I have, even if it is a little talk-heavy to start with.

Anyway, we return to our dorm room after chatting with Junpei, where we're told by the game that the sign-in sheet serves as our method to save the game. Before we can do that, though, we're almost immediately welcomed back by Mitsuru, who apparently only has one line to say to us. But hey, we're back to moving about again! Hooray! So, after saving we decide to take a quick look around the dorms before we head upstairs to inevitably continue the plot. Yukari's around, but she tells us to go get some sleep. Mitsuru, strangely enough, is nowhere to be seen. Either she's a ninja or a ghost. Not sure which just yet. Anyway, let's go upstairs and sleep off this long, talky day.

-Meanwhile, in the future party member area!-

Some confident looking student approaches Mitsuru, saying he'll be going out for a bit. Judging by the way he's holding that jacket, he's probably going off to pose for a modelling magazine or something. They chat for a bit, revealing something about lots of people gaining something called "Apathy Syndrome". As it's in green-ish letters, it must be important. Important enough to be in the news, at least. Mister Confident disputes the reason of "stress" given by the news for this syndrome, citing only THEM. No, seriously, that's how it's written in the subtitles. How very ominous. You know, the way this guy acts, plus the bandage/plaster/band-aid/whatever on his head, I'd say there's a lot more Blood Knight in him than meets the eye. After some more ominous dialogue, he wanders off, leaving Mitsuru to both chide him and give us his name, Akihiko. Thanks, fourth wall breaking ninja-ghost! Strangely enough, the night passes without incident. No TUTORIAL FIGHT for us just yet, I guess. On the way to school the following day, we hear two students gossiping about some student who got struck with a terrible case of the bored and started starting at walls for entertainment. Or, more likely, she got Apathy Syndrome. Also the only words she can utter are "It's coming", which is suitably ominous to herald some sort of big bad. But enough gossip, it's time for school!

So, in class we hear about some Japanese guy who was both a singer and writer. Unfortunately, Junpei wasn't listening, so it's up to us to give him the answer. Giving the right answer increases our charm, so that's cool! Let that be a lesson to you, kids. Pay attention in class and you too can be a popular main character! After class we head over to a local mall, but only for a few brief moments. We return to the dorm to find Yukari talking with a man who very nearly had me thinking he was a woman until I saw his cut-out. The "sophisticated gentleman" introduces himself as Shuju Ikutsuki, the chairman of the board at our school. Apparently his last name gets him all tongue-tied, so he doesn't like introducing himself. What an odd man. Apparently it's going to take a while longer before we get our proper room, but that's fine by me. Swanky apartment dorm works just fine for Minato! We can say about what we saw the other night, but we'll only get silenced by Yukari, so I ask about who else lives in the dorm. Apparently only Yukari, Mitsuru, Akihiko and Minato live in there at present. Gee, what a coincidence.

Huh. Seems we can ask more questions, so let's go ahead and try saying about the thing we saw. Might as well, right? This apparently raises alarm bells for Yukari and Shuji. Clearly they know I'm onto their ghost-chatting ways! He says we were just tired and not to worry. Bah, he won't be saying that when we get jumped by a TUTORIAL FIGHT, will he? Ah well, let's end this conversation and head to bed so we can get some sleep/plot advancement. Shuji leaves us with a pun. Oh God, he's our resident Pungeon Master, isn't he? Yep, Yukari confirms it. Drat and blast. We decide to take his advice and get some sleep, because why not?

-Meanwhile, in the other future party member area-

We find Yukari and Mitsuru working on some magic computer thingy that apparently produces all sorts of graphs for no reason. Shuji wanders in to check on their spying, once more confirming my ghost-hunting suspicions. Apparently Mitsuru thinks I might be one of them. The plot thickens! Shuji says to wait and see, since apparently The Dark Hour is approaching. How ominous.

Cutscene time! It's dark, the streets are rough and it's approaching midnight. Suddenly, the sky turns green and coffins appear. Gotta say, if this is a dream then it's not the greatest dream I've ever had. We appear to still be asleep right now, so as we sleep, Shuji exposits about the Dark Hour. It occurs every night at midnight, and apparently everyone turns into coffins at that time. Well, every normal person, anyway. This isn't the case for us, though, and clearly isn't for Shuji, or we'd have a coffin telling us all this instead. Told you we were the main character. Once again, THEY appear in conversation, along with the implication that we have "the potential". Shuji says they should keep observing, but apparently Yukari has reservations. But enough chit-chat, let's get to... Oh no. Oh no no no no. NOT AGAIN. NOT YOU AGAIN!

-Sigh- Everyone, say hello to the Velvet Room, and Igor. We're also introduced to Elizabeth, who also inhabits the Velvet Room. That poor thing, having only Igor McLongnosecreepyface for company. Then again, she gives me the creeps as well, so they're probably made for each other. Igor explains that the Velvet Room is an in-between place, existing between dream and reality, mind and matter. And oh God, he's got our contract. We've found our evil mastermind, folks! Run, run! Apparently only those who signed the contract can enter. That's why you read the contract first, Minato! We also need his help to hone our "unique ability". I wasn't aware that being a protag meant we had to hone anything. He also explains that we're in a dream. Definitely not the most welcome dream for a new student. We get the Velvet Key thrust upon us only to wake up.

Wow, that was definitely a thing. Going to cut it off again for the time being, so I shall see you fine people next time!
