18:Straight Out of Hollywood

John says that he's never felt like this before, and Jane agrees, resulting in them kissing to the sound of cheers, spread out over several panels (which makes it seem quite awkward, perhaps how real kissing is). John and Jane says they should go somewhere to park... or rather, talk, and Jane agrees to the latter. Jane finally asks John about his work, and John says that Jane just cleared up his schedule.

Jane says she wants to know everything about John, such as what he does for a living, as she likes people who take their work seriously, and wants to meet his mother (which wouldn't likely be very pleasant, even if John's mother desperately wants him to get together with someone). John, not wanting them to get started on the wrong foot, decides to come clean, saying that he's a plumber, and Jane thinks that he's joking, saying that, "John, plumbers don't wear ties." Luckily for him, she takes it as a joke and takes him to her place and offers to cook dinner for him, with pizza as an alternative., John suggests that either is fine, since she has him eating out of her hand.

As the two walk to the motorcycle hand in hand, John asks if Jane's fine with him being a plumber, only to find that she still doesn't believe him. She loves him as he is and asks what's wrong with being an account rep, as she's fine with him as long as he isn't a lawyer. The story ends with John asking Jane whether she really wants to meet his mother.
