Hello! It's raigakuren with my second(!) liveblog series. I'll be covering the Live Action adaption of the popular manga by Bisco Hatori, Ouran High School Host Club!
For those of you who are not aware of what OHSHC is about, allow me to enlighten you. It is a Shōjo manga series made by Bisco Hatori (as previously stated). It is overall a Romantic Comedy. The series started in September 2002 and ended on November 2010 with 18 tankabon volumes. It was made into an Animated Adaption by Studio Bones and in 2006 and has been licensed in North America by FU Nimation.
The series revolves around Host Club in Ouran High School, a private academy for the rich. "Commoner" Haruhi Fujioka manages to get a scholarship into the school, while looking for a place to study she stumbles upon the Host Club. In their encounter, Haruhi accidentally knocks over a vase that costs over 8 million yen. In order to pay her debt, Haruhi must work as a member as a Host Club and get 100 requests. There is, however one small problem...Haruhi is a girl.
