We have tropes directly related to sequels at Sequel.

Yes, but these aren't sequels - most of them have to do with the flow of an actual TV series, or their relationship to an ongoing franchise - e.g. a video game series, in which sequels often don't follow the same tropes as film Sequels. Most if not all of these tropes are not on the Sequel index.

The lead paragraph will need to emphasize that this is about tropes that occur during the progression of a series as a whole, without regard to individual episodes. There's going to be a lot, though.

    Don't forget Wham Episode.

Duly noted, and updated. I actually don't think there's going to be quite as many as you think... most of these tropes don't have anywhere to go and I found it quite hard to track down similar ones.

YKTTW Bump... last try, if nobody thinks this is worth it I'll let it die.

I think it's worth it to have tropes that chart the progression of a series. It just needs to be clear that these are for things like comics, tv shows, and other episodic content rather than for things that are just two or three instalments.
