Sometime today

A way of stressing annoyance, or a time constraint

Name Space:
Page Type:
Bob is running late, he hurrying around the best he can, trying to get ready. Alice is huffing and glareing at him, arms crossed and occasionally tapping her wristwatch. Finally Alice has had just about enough and exclaims, "I would like to get there sometime today, or you know, before the turn of the century?"

Sometimes used in more dire situations as a slight comic relief.
