Is this your draft? Seriously? :-D Or are you in the middle of editing it and adding examples?

"You talk too much. In battle, you should use your mouth like this!" - Guts bites the sword that Griffith is holding up to his face. (Berserk)

    Page quote:
Weyrloc Clanspeaker: (goes on and on and on for over a minute about the hordes of krogan soldiers that will result from curing the genophage)

    Video Games:
    • At one point in Mordin's loyalty mission in Mass Effect 2 you encounter a Clan Weyrloc official who will. Not. Stop. Talking. He yammers on about how curing the genophage will allow the krogans to take over the galaxy for well over a minute, and about five seconds in a Renegade interrupt prompt pops up and stays there for the rest of the speech. Trigger it and Shepard very boredly blows him to smithereens by shooting a gas line. Even the game wanted you to shut him up.

It's something of a running gag that almost everybody in the Marvel Universe can't stand Spider Man's excessive chatter. Gruffer, grittier Anti Hero types such as The Punisher are particularly prone to getting annoyed and telling him to shut up.

On that note, this can be related to You Fight Like A Cow?

^ To elaborate he's thought to be annoying enough his mouth is literally sewn shut.

Edit: You could probably add Deadpool in the comics here as well. Even Spider-Man can't take his talking. Of course it's less that he talks too much and more he talks too much about being a comic character and seeing yellow boxes. Guy's Ax Crazy.

In Prince Of Persia The Sands Of Time, one of the few times the usually-stoic Seso opens his mouth is to say to Amar, "Has anyone ever told you that you talk too much?"

An especially amusing example in The Big Bang Theory -- for most of the show's run Raj can't talk in the presence of women unless he's drunk. At the end of Season 6, a romantic trauma shakes him so much that he loses that disability -- prompting the girls to wonder if he'll ever shut up.

    • In Transformers More Than Meets The Eye, Swerve is constantly berated by the rest of the Lost Light's crew for his incessant chatter, and he notes that his "nickname at the Academy was 'Shut the Hell Up'."

    • Also from The Big Bang Theory: Sheldon can often annoy his friends by expounding ad nauseum on a given subject, often a trivial one. Oftentimes he'll bring up a rhetorical question or statement on a trivial matter tangentially related to something they're doing, someone (most often Penny) will ask him what he means, and catch themselves too late (with Leonard muttering "here we go"), realizing Sheldon will expound for the next few minutes on it.

    • Joe Jones' song "You Talk Too Much":
      You talk too much
      You worry me to death
      You talk too much
      You even worry my pet
      You just taaaaalk,
      You talk too much

    • On one of Keith Richards' solo albums is the song "Yap Yap":
You known you talk too much, mmm yeh
Yap, yap, you talk too much
Even in my sleep I hear you babe
But it makes me weep when I'm awake

The description needs a lot more meat though, I agree. Don't be afraid to "talk too much" in that, lol. ;)

An instance of this that ended rather unfortunately:

    Music

Guns N Roses' song "I Used to Love Her" was about a girlfriend who "bitched so much, she drove [him] nuts":
I used to love her, but I had to kill her
    I had to put her
    Six feet under
And I can still hear her complain

    • Lieutenant Commander Data from Star Trek The Next Generation tends to spout verbose analyses. Once, Doctor Crusher snapped at him, "Data, quit babbling." After a moment of reflection, Data concurred, "Doctor Crusher is correct, sir; I do babble."

    Western Animation
    • Rev Runner's motor mouth can sometimes annoy the Loonatics Unleashed, particularly Tech Coyote. Their debut episode "The Ice Vikings" has Rev streaming so many syllables that Tech crams a slice of cold pizza into Rev's beak to make him shut up.

In the Bugs Bunny short "Bugs & Thugs," Bugs is annoying a mobster.
    Rocky: SHUT UP!
Bugs Bunny: Shut u-up? Why certainly! You don't think I'm the type that would keep on blabbin'? Some people never know when to stop. When I'm told to shut up, I shut up...
Rocky: sticks gun in Bugs's face Shut UP shut-in' up!

Seeing the current "description", I'm not sure if it even pays the effort to say this, but the title violates the No New Stock Phrases policy.

It could be always renamed to something which is not a stock phrase.
