* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: A completely out-of-the-blue cameo by Film/InWonderland2010.
%%** Jacob's ExpositoryHairstyleChange ends up like this here.
* CriticalDissonance: Was panned by critics--so much that they literally had to make up positive reviews for the trailers (though with obviously fake names like Oliver Clothesoff)--but was a mild box office success ($80 million with a 20 million budget).
* CrossesTheLineTwice: A couple of times, most notably the scene in which Edward promises no harm will come to Becca, only for most of her ceiling to fall on her, brick by brick.
-->Edward: ...starting now.
* SugarWiki/HeReallyCanAct: This movie really does have a following of people who feel that it did a sufficient job of spoofing Twilight. The fact that it was at least focused on movies that were already out certainly worked to its benefit. Jenn Proske's acting received some praise even from mainstream critics.
* HilariousInHindsight: This wouldn't be the last time BJ Britt played a character named Antoine.
* ItWasHisSled: [[spoiler:In the original, Bella turning into a vampire marks the AssPull. Here, it's the TwistEnding.]]
* ParodySue: Bella's sueness is lampshaded like hell.
--> Becca: Every hot guy finds me irresistible. [A hot guy puts his arm around her] See?
* MemeticMutation: The reason why they had to work in a baseball bat somewhere.
* TrailerJokeDecay: Was pretty funny until the trailers spoiled every single punchline.
* SurprisinglyImprovedSequel: Not that that's saying much considering Creator/SeltzerAndFriedberg's previous films, but it's generally agreed this is one of their better spoof films, if not the best aside from Film/ScaryMovie. Mainly due to the fact it focuses on one series it's parodying rather than several and thus able to keep its focus. It also focuses on a work that was already out at the time, making it somewhat less of a ShallowParody.
* UnintentionalPeriodPiece: Vampires Suck was made when Literature/TheTwilightSaga was at the height of its popularity, and detractors were at their most vocal. While the franchise still has its fans and detractors today, it's not the hot topic it was when Vampires Suck was made, so it's very unlikely this film would be made in today's age, much less be a box office success.
