* Wesley is one of the most thoughtful and likable characters on ''Series/{{Angel}}'' -- except where Fred is concerned. His obsession with her in the final two seasons is downright scary. In the two-parter where Fred is [[spoiler:mysteriously dying]], Wes kills a man without hesitation, stabs one of his best friends, and gives us this mind-boggling yandere moment:

*** At another point, someone whom Wesley is completely convinced is his father is using Angel as a hostage to ensure his escape, and Wesley is prepared to let him go. He then makes a threatening gesture towards Fred...and Wesley kills him without thought or hesitation.
** Another example from the same show is Connor, [[Theatre/OedipusRex Oedipus complex]] poster boy, who does more and more horrible things in season four out of love for [[spoiler:what he thinks is]] Cordelia.

* Rebecca Bunch, protagonist of ''Series/CrazyExGirlfriend'' is beginning to show signs of being, or having been, one of these thanks to the season 3 finale. Where up until now she has been largely harmless in her obsessions with Josh and Greg, flashbacks in the aforementioned episode reveal that [[spoiler: she was previously in a relationship with a college professor named Robert, expected him to leave his wife for her, and then when he disappointed she burned a number of belongings and at least part of his house down. She has also sworn to "destroy" Josh after he leaves her at the altar to become a priest.]]

** Lucifer was kicked out of Heaven for "loving God too much". After the breaking of the 66 Seals, he has returned to Earth to seek revenge. So far, he has focused on [[MurderTheHypotenuse murdering the hypotenuse]], and [[{{Dissimile}} by "the hypotenuse" he means "the human race"]]. The first part of this is consistent with some Islamic mystical traditions. When God [[spoiler:returns in Season 11, Lucifer is significantly less murderous, they hash out their issues and reconcile, and Lucifer even tries to protect his father, only t wind up abandoned again when God leaves with his sister the Darkness - herself a Yandere for Dean as a ReplacementGoldfish for her brother - after her HeelFaceTurn. In Season 12, Lucifer hits DespairEventHorizon believing that God only used him to defeat the Darkness, and decides to cause as much destruction as he can in revenge.]]

** Dean for Sam. When it comes to Sam, Dean is willing to go to the extremes for him in almost all cases. Dean is willing to kill without hesitation in the name of Sam and go to the extreme lengths to save, protect and keep him alive even if it's against Sam's wishes. Dean has visible Crazy Jealous Guy syndrome when it comes to Sam, being noticeably jealous and suspicious of anyone who so much as looks at Sam or gets close to him. This has been shown in the case of Sam's involvement with Ruby, Amy, Meg, and Amelia for example. Dean has veered into Murder the Hypotenuse territory and has even killed Sams love interests (such as Ruby and Amy), granted only when they were demons or monsters. When it comes to Dean and his love for Sam, it's definitely in Love Makes You Crazy territory considering that he has been willing to kill or become violent when it comes to him. He's also very possessive and controlling of Sam, seeming to want to know what Sam is doing or who he's involved with at pretty much all times. When one looks back at Dean's actions concerning Sam over the entirety of the series, it could be safe to say that Dean is obsessed with Sam to unhealthy proportions.

* Rose (MelanieLynskey) [[StalkerWithACrush stalks Charlie]] in ''Series/TwoAndAHalfMen'' and is just unbalanced enough that she could very well boil a bunny.

* Here's a fun (possibly [[ShmuckBait lethal]]) drinking game idea: Go onto the InvestigationDiscovery channel, watch just about ''any'' show, and take a shot every time the killer is one of these.

* Kilgrave in ''Series/JessicaJones''. Prior to the series, he became obsessed with Jessica when she [[spoiler:managed to [[ILoveYouBecauseICantControlYou escape]] his [[MindRape mind control]] after he made her kill Luke Cage's wife]]. He spends much of the series [[StalkerWithACrush stalking]] her and committing various atrocities in attempting to "win her back", i.e. MindRape her again.

** Fauxmanda is this in regards to both Emily and Jack, killing and attempting to kill for both of them in order to keep them in her life.
** Natalie, Conrad's ex-mistress, has major streaks of this towards Conrad. She goes as far as to marry Conrad's father and [[spoiler:starve him to death]] in order gain access to the Grayson name and fortune, enters Victoria's social circle in order to undermine Conrad's ex-wife, and [[spoiler:attempts to frame David for domestic abuse as a way of posthumously avenging Conrad.]] As the cherry on top, she erratically declares Lydia- Conrad's other mistress- a "vile whore".
** Louise is a classic example, stalking Daniel, attempting to get pregnant by him and locking his girlfriend Margaux in a sauna.

** Angel might be a literal example as [[BerserkButton he's typically very understanding and mild-mannered ... except when it comes to Buffy and other men.]] More than often than not, he's roused to [[GreenEyedMonster extreme jealousy]] and seems to take instant dislike to any guy with eyes on her. He didn't hold back fighting Riley, even letting him believe he lost his soul again by sleeping with Buffy just to provoke a fight and later [[LoveTriangle frequently clashes]] (verbally and physically) with Spike.
*** Based on his spin-off ''Series/{{Angel}}, however, Angel seems to be this only with Buffy.

** [[ChickBusters AJ Lee]] is the most high-profile recent example of this trope in action in WWE since, as the targets of her... "interest" are the WWE Champion (her most recent crush) and his challenger (her ex).

** Myranda is willing to kill or cripple other girls who could possibly steal Ramsay's attention away from her. Though she only harms them when knowing that Ramsay wouldn't mind too much.

* Lysa Arryn in ''Series/GameOfThrones''. She's loved Petyr Baelish her whole life and has always been jealous that he loved her sister more. Even after Lysa and Petyr get married, Lysa gets more than a little crazed at the thought of Petyr being involved with someone else, to the point that she physically injures her own niece, who is fifteen years old and has no interest in Petyr at all.

** In "The Sins of Castle Cove," [[spoiler:Elis the bookkeeper killed Miriam after discovering himself in the titular book. He confronted her, trying to see if she really thought of him like that. Enraged, he struck her down, feeling his unrequited feelings for her were rejected]].

* ''Series/PersonOfInterest:'' Root, who is obsessed with ''The Machine.''

* More than one of these [[ADeathInTheLimelight meets their end]] in ''OneThousandWaysToDie''. The more obvious example is Ashley from "Smoke-stalked", who tried to break into the home that the dude she stalked shared with his wife... only to end up spending a week stuck in the chimney since they weren't even there. [[AndIMustScream She slowly died of a mix of starvation, dehydration, and suffocation]]; the other two only found out when they tried to unclog their chimney.

** Nora.

* A somewhat unconventional example, but Old Gregg from ''TheMightyBoosh'' is yandere for Howard Moon, alternately courting and threatening him constantly and within minutes of meeting him for the first time.

* Missy from ''NedsDeclassifiedSchoolSurvivalGuide'' towards the eponymous Ned.

** Fauxmanda is this in regards to both Emily and Jack, killing and attempting to kill for both of them in order to keep them safe.
