* In ''Film/{{Tormented}}'' we get a yandere ''ghost''. Disturbingly, the movie seems to consider her actions, and her perception of events, as ''[[ValuesDissonance perfectly justified]]''.

* Jackie from ''Film/TheHouseOfYes'' is madly in love with her brother Marty (yes, in [[BrotherSisterIncest that way]]) and is more than willing to murder anyone who gets between them. It's probably the only western film on this list to combine being a {{Yandere}} with incest.

*** Many, ''many'' "evil [[DoubleStandard men]]" in these Lifetime Movies are portrayed as evil Yanderes who ruin the lives of the "[[DesignatedHero poor little women]]" because they won't "submit" to their cocks EVER. Remember, ladies, you should ''never ever'' trust anyone with a penis if you live in a Lifetime-like environment!
*** And if the Yandere is a female, she's either the PsychoExGirlfriend who Wants Her Man Back '''''now''''', or the angry WomanScorned who wants to steal the male lead from under the female lead's nose and won't take no for an answer. Sandy Burrow (Joely Fisher) from ''Seduction in a Small Town'' is a great example of a Lifetime-like Yandere: when she throws herself at Paul Jenks (Dennis Weaver) and is rebuffed because he's HappilyMarried to Sarah ([[Series/LittleHouseOnThePrairie Melissa Gilbert]]), among other things, she gets so pissed that she falsely accuses them both of being horrible AbusiveParents to their two kids and gets them thrown in jail. ''Twice''.

* Mark Wahlberg's character David [=McCall=] in the 1996 movie ''Film/{{Fear}}'' has this for Nicole (Reese Witherspoon). He becomes so obsessed with her that [[CrazyJealousGuy he beats up a male friend at her school for even talking to her]], manipulates her to resent her protective father while sexually abusing her female friend behind her back, carves her name into his chest, and near the end of the movie tries to invade her family's home with his friends and starts by ''cutting off her dog's head''.
* Marina (Ma Rina) ''Friend Request'' seems to be a platonic version. She was a lonely girl who didn't have any Website/{{Facebook}} friends until Laura accepted her request. She becomes overly attached to Laura and starts doing weird things like photoshopping them together and messaging her excessively. Then after Laura celebrates her birthday without Marina, she makes a scene in public, demanding an explanation. This leads to her [[SpurnedIntoSuicide committing suicide]] and [[MurderTheHypotenuse killing Laura's friends]]. She also publishes certain events, which causes her friend count to plummet. [[spoiler:It's implied in the end that Marina possesses Laura, or does something else to her, making them friends forever.]]

* Big Brother Ma from the 2008 Chinese film ''Film/ButterflyLovers''. At first you think he's just going to be the UnluckyChildhoodFriend of the tale. And then the plot ensues...

** ''NoOneWouldTell'', Bobby (played by Fred Savage) in the [[LifetimeMovieOfTheWeek TV movie]].

* In the indie horror flick ''Film/{{Possession 2009}}'', Roman (Creator/LeePace) starts off as a TroubledButCute StalkerWithACrush towards his sister in law and lawyer Jess (Creator/SarahMichelleGellar) but then he gets into a car crash with his brother which leaves both comatose, but then Roman's body wakes up with his brothers soul in it [[spoiler: except its not her hubby, its just Roman pretending to be her hubby and he is ''not'' going to let anything, or anyone interfere with his "marriage".]]

* Hedy (Creator/JenniferJasonLeigh) is sort of a LesYay version of this towards Allie (BridgetFonda) in ''Film/SingleWhiteFemale''. She even [[MurderTheHypotenuse kills Allie's boyfriend]]. [[OutWithABang After blowing him]].

* Helga G. Pataki from ''Film/HeyArnold'', may acts so tsundere so many times. But don't forget the way she warns her classmates about being Juliet only to be with her dearly crush, Arnold. There's no way she would share him with someone else.

* Before ''Fatal Attraction'' stole its iconic status, Clint Eastwood's ''Film/PlayMistyForMe'' was the reference movie for this trope. Eastwood's first directorial effort has him stalked by [[LoonyFan an obsessive fan]]. Who can frighten even ''Film/DirtyHarry'' and ''The Man With No Name''? Why, it's Jessica Walter (before she played the rich, alcoholic harpy Lucille on ''Series/ArrestedDevelopment''), a veteran TV actress normally so square you would expect her to wear a shoulder strap purse and sensible skirt in the shower or on the moon. The psychotically jealous Evelyn Draper was the performance of a lifetime for her, leading a generation to get creeped out whenever they heard the classic Erroll Garner tune on the radio.
* Clinch of ''A Million Ways To Die In The West'' is shown to be perfectly willing to murder people when he learns his wife Anna kissed another man (Albert) as well as attempting to murder her in a case of IfICantHaveYou after she rejects and humiliates him. He also makes an effort to kill Albert but Albert defeats him.
* Played straight by Freddy himself in ''Film/ANightmareOnElmStreet2010'' towards Nancy. While he intends to kill all the children for telling their parents he molested them, he saves Nancy for something worse because — as Nancy's mother admitted — she's his favorite one of all. While he abused the children sexually at school, he menaces Nancy nonstop with a perverted Yandere attitude that makes his antics in life seem tame. And when Quentin and Nancy develop feelings for each other, Freddy gets pretty jealous.
* Lily from the "Amateur Night" segment in ''{{Film/VHS}}'' towards Clint. She repeatedly tells him "I like you", reacts violently when the other guys make a move on her, and takes Clint's rather understandable rejection of her advances very badly. She sobs in a CornerOfWoe, then pursues Clint in a fit of rage, refusing to take "no" for an answer. * The 2015 version of ''Film/TheBoyNextDoor'' provides a younger male version. Noah becomes obsessed with Claire, a married mother who lives next door to him, after they engage in one-night stand. When she gets back with her husband, he becomes determined to make her his by any means necessary. [[spoiler:In the climax, he kills her best friend and tries to kill her husband and son in order to have her all to himself. He even attempts to kill [[IfICantHaveYou her]] when she tries to fight back against him.]]

* Edward Nygma (a.k.a. the Riddler) of ''Film/BatmanForever'' seems an awful lot like one of the male persuasion. He keeps pictures of Bruce Wayne on his desk (glamour shots from a ladies' magazine, yet), gets nervous and giggly when meeting Wayne for the first time as well as spouting unnerving phrases of devotion and insisting that Wayne accept his opus... and tipping completely off the deep end immediately after having his plan nixed by Bruce.

* Jackie from ''Film/TheHouseOfYes'' is probably the only character on this page to combine the {{Yandere}} with [[{{Squick}} incest]].

* [[spoiler:Lucille Sharpe]] from ''Film/CrimsonPeak'' is very possessive of her lover [[spoiler:and brother Thomas]]. When she finds out that he has fallen for someone else, she flips out and kills him in a fit of rage, then immediately starts sobbing [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone over the deed she did]].

* ''Franchise/StarWars'': Anakin Skywalker ''lives'' this trope. He falls in love with exactly ''one'' girl, Padme Amidala, in his whole life, and they go from "old crush" to "man and wife" in the course of ''Film/AttackOfTheClones''. Then he thinks she'll die in childbirth during ''Film/RevengeOfTheSith'', so he makes his FaceHeelTurn to TheDarkSide to prevent it...and then he ''Force Choke her to near death'' (she later dies on the medical table after her childbirth) because he got it into his head that she betrayed him for Obi-Wan Kenobi, whom he saw as competition even though he really wasn't.

* Cupid, in ''Film/{{Valentine}}'', is something new. He might think that the only human his girfriend needs is him only.

* In ''Film/{{Megamind}}'', [[spoiler:Hal]] turns into one for Roxanne. He harbored strong possessive feelings for her before [[spoiler:he gained his powers. Once he got them, he felt like he finally had a chance with her and showed off his powers to her.]] Unfortunately, she didn't return his feelings, despite his belief that he should [[EntitledToHaveYou have her]] since [[spoiler:he's a superhero.]] This leads to him taking his anger out on the city and [[spoiler:almost [[IfICantHaveYou killing her]] by throwing a ''bus'' at her.]]
