** Queen of Blades plot could be said to be a string of irrational events one after another. The most glaring example is why 'Sarah' went to the group for aid instead of informing the authorities about her missing friend. Sometimes it is justified with how some of the characters are idiots(Edward, for example), others... [[IdiotBall not quite much.]]

* CrowningMomentOfAwesome: Milly, a ten-year old vampire girl who then hadn't unlocked any of her latent powers, versus the Meta, the crazed power armoured super soldier. Milly did surprisingly well. Granted, the Meta nearly tore of Milly's jaw and only left because he thought she was dead. But still.

* BlackHoleSue: Four is almost a complete inversion. Nothing EVER goes right for her.
** One daughter was kidnapped, her son went insane and nearly killed Mia, he then became, in Four's words, "a monster", the woman whose body she stole returned and locked her in her own mind and then she became worried Mia would leave her like she did to Shannon.
** And she's an alcoholic who locked a woman in her own mind, and supported everything Reginald did (which is basically mass murder). She is far from perfect.
** And in the third thread, after managing to eke out an existence with a depressed girlfriend and two children to support, her employer was killed and her house was trashed by the government which forced her to leave the country, she was kidnapped (and it's implied she suffered sexual abuse during), her second son was gutted like a fish right in front of her, she was caught inside a mecha as it exploded, and her girlfriend threatened to kill herself right in front of her.
* BreakoutCharacter: Originally just a side-character at best, Four somehow grew to be popular enough to cause the 'Main' Character to go forsaken and forgotten for hours, and occasionally days, on end. By Thread #3 she had usurped the position of "Drak's Main Character", which she kept for the duration of it.
** General consensus even named her the poster character, and was arguably the main character of the third thread (given that the first two plotlines revolved around her).
