Foe Yay has been cut

* FoeYay:
** Takatsuki and Chiba in middle school had a lot of romantic tension, to the point where a large portion of the fandom was confused when nothing came of it.
** Doi originally had FoeYay, but then it became a canon crush on Nitori in middle school. He still bullied her nevertheless.

** The manga began in the early 2000s and ended in the 2010s. It ran [[WebcomicTime more-or-less in real time]] and shows the changing views on trans kids in Japan. Takatsuki and Nitori aren't pariahs but their parents and teachers don't know what to do about their gender issues. If the manga had begun in the mid-to-late 2010s, this might have been different, as more teens and preteens in Japan are coming out as trans and presenting as their gender at school.

It could be symbolically referring to their personalities but it seems like it's just for artistic value (the artworks often are watercolored too, so it's a theme). Though considering how Shimura is with shading, they really ''could' be pastel.
