** The group introduced in chapter 18, consisting of Seraphina, Sealeen, and Landen were also very well-liked for their designs and surprisingly funny personalities, including a ship tease between Sealeen and Lynn. Many fans even want them to join the main cast.

** The western basitins introduced in the epilogue of chapter 19 have gained quite some traction as well.

* EnsembleDarkhorse: King Adelaide is very popular amongst the fandom, mainly because of her Amazonian beauty and reasonable authority figure personality. Also helped by the fact that she’s often requested for sketches.

** Theire Sah-Van and Daniels have been viewed very favorably by the fandom despite simply being background characters.

** Turns out that [[http://twokinds.keenspot.com/comic/1124/ there is more left of Trace Legacy]] than just a ghost in Trace's mind. It also turns out that the only reason he ever dated Maren was so that he could use her as a vessel fo the soul of his wife.

* BaseBreakingCharacter: The protagonist of the series, Trace Legacy has been a contentious character for the fandom, the reason being that many feel that the story is passing over the fact that he had attempted genocide and is just excusing him just because he has amnesia, which many feel is a poor justification, what doesn’t help is that his end goal involves him leaving to Lyn’knol, a secret place where humans and keidran live in harmony to escape his problems rather than confronting it. On the other side people have argued that while what he did was terrible, the current trace we’re following is not the same genocidal Trace from before, and that they believe he will try to fix the damage that he’s caused, even arguing that he isn’t just gonna ignore what he’s done and that since he’s having a child with Flora, a tiger keidran, he will be able to end the war with her help. Whether or not that’s enough depends on who you’re asking.
