This is likely due to Genki's budget cuts during the development and half of the Wangan Line being blocked off from Yokohane, Daikoku and Haneda for repairs hence why the said routes have been omitted.

*** "[[https://youtu.be/3KTW_6Z_t5M Epilogue III]]", while [[TearJerker tearjerking]], is truely a BittersweetEnding in music form.
** ''Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3'': The groovy "[[https://youtu.be/zKkSjPB89JU Crying]]", which blasts in the background specially when you buy your first car and get ready to make the rivals eat your dust ASAP.
*** The [[NightmareFuel Nightmare Fuelrrific]] "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTF0pF9PxB8 Fatal Moment]]", which is also Jintei's leitmotif, is a brutal, military-like piece of orchestra which gives you a hint that you'll face an EliteMook right before the adrenaline-inducing "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8MgOV0fH38 Battle of the Empire]]" kicks in.
*** Last but not least, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAehIq8Lhhs Running in the Dark]]" by Dakota Star, a rather SolemnEndingTheme that fits perfectly after all of your efforts to defeat every single rival (and wanderer) in the entire game, [[SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome you've become the ultimate racer among all of them]].

* ItsEasySoItSucks / TheyChangedItNowItSucks : Import Tuner Challenge gets flack for being the easiest game in the series. It's even possible to beat the entire game without losing to a single opponent. Also, the game cut down the Yokohane Route and Wangan, leaving just only C1 and New Belt Line (plus a few mini-routes). Also, the car rosters are frustratingly limited, even the base cars of the custom cars (such as Rolling Guy's [=AE86=]) aren't available.

* MostAnnoyingSound: Every time the announcer shouts '''ACTION!''' during the drift segments in the Kaido Battle series' category races. Whether you're good at this mode or not, this ''will'' get on your nerves eventually.
** The riff that plays every time a Wanderer rejects your request to race.
** The police siren that plays when the player gets a speeding ticket. Bonus points for also being a ScrappyMechanic.
** What about the sound in [=TXR3=] when you lose? To clarify, when you lose, you are treated to an obnoxiously loud and high pitched electronic wail. Becomes even more annoying if you end up in a draw (when there is a fork in the road in which you take one way and your rival takes another way).
** Also from the same game, when a GiantSpaceFleaFromNowhere FinalBoss challenges you. It is creepy.

*** The Wangan Highway becomes this in [=TXR3=]. Not because it is too challenging of a course, but due to the fact is literally a straight road that stretches on for miles without a single turn. What makes it ThatOneLevel is that races are strictly based on the performance of your car. If your car is not fast enough, you will lose a lot of races in that area. Tolls in the later parts of this expressway can be a {{troll}} to many racers. [[SarcasmMode Good luck bumping into tolls.]]
