* MemeticMutation: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHZvUeAdzeI The Slap Part 2]] comedy skit from Open Slather has garnered a huge amount of popularity on the internet, easily becoming the most known skit form that show. The skit takes the premise UpToEleven and involves the main character slapping the child, the parents, the party goers, and the police. It's been the source of countless edits usually with a {{Memetic Badass}}'s face imposed on the slapper and a variety of their victims imposed on all the people getting slapped. It's gotten to the point where quite a lot of people are more familiar with that skit than the show it was made to parody.

* CrowningMomentofFunny: When Hector's son fights with his sister after she called him a fat pig. We're then treated to a full-body shot of the portly boy sitting on a bean-bag eating chips and playing video games. Even Hector could see the irony in that moment.

* EnsembleDarkhorse: Manolis is generally considered the most likeable character, since he's not as manipulative as the rest. Even when he manhandles Aisha and goes to a brothel, he's still not the worst person in the series. Since everyone around him is so overbearing, a lot of the audience will forgive him for any moral lapses.
