* AluminumChristmasTrees: The team is frequently shown using suppressed Sten submachine guns to devastating effect and little apparent notice from everyone around. The suppressed Sten is actually that quietThe Sten Mark 2 that the team uses was absolutely notorious for being far, far better designed than it had any right to be, considering it was made by a resource-strapped United Kingdom to replace the weapons they left behind in Dunkirk. In addition to the low-powered [=9x19mm=] pistol round being inherently easier to suppress due to the bullet's design, the suppressor on the Sten is as long as the gun itself, stock included. The suppressed submachine was specifically designed for covert warfare, with an aim towards being as quiet as possible. Combined with the fact that suppressors were not especially common in 1942, the fact that no one notices the suppressed gunshots is also justified the three times they're used: in the scene on the boat, the team is far away from the Nazi's larger boat, and they aren't heard; in the stockade raid, a lot of attention is drawn to the loud, backfiring vehicle, which is providing sound covernotice that once it's fixed and turned off, the team abandons the quiet approach and goes loud; during the ending, each kill is enough to get attention, but more of a "what was that" reaction instead of "those were gunshots" reaction.

* AbilityOverAppearance: The real Lassen looked nothing like Alan Ritchson, if for no other reason than because Ritchson's enormous physique (which he developed for his part in Series/Reacher) would be very unlikely given the wartime rations his character would be mostly subsisting on. However, his physical performance and stunt choreography more than make up for it.
