* IdiotPlot: When Crandall turns into his superhero persona, the only thing he changes is his clothes. He doesn't even wear a mask, and has his real name right in his superhero name, which is basically just giving away his secret identity. Yet ''somehow'', his own mother can't recognize him when he's wearing the costume. [[spoiler:Subverted by the last episode, in which she reveals she's known the whole time.]]

* TheyJustDidntCare: One of the games at the website was a quiz about some of the show's villains. Sometimes, you would lose by picking the right answer (eg, Hypnotheria hypnotizing the heroes to become addicted to candy) and would have to instead pick a wrong one (Hypnotheria hypnotizing the heroes to become addicted to vegetables).[[note]]And ''the whole purpose'' of the episode was to give AnAesop about eating healthy.[[/note]]

* NightmareFuel: In the episode where everyone is getting replaced by robot copies, the trio finds the villain's hideout and uncover various people who have been replaced, including Crandall's mom and sister. Crandall is gung-ho about finding out who else has been captured...and then finds Rope Girl and Skate Lad in the next two pods. What that means clicks into place but a moment too late. The switch between Rope Girl and Skate Lad's normal behavior and their robotic counterparts' actions is disturbing and it doesn't help that it can be hard to tell if they're just trying to capture him or ''kill'' him.
