** Where's Taka? Another RunningGag with the live chat during their game streams. Because Taka lives in Vancouver, he very rarely takes part in streams, but the chat will spam the team asking about him regardless.

** In the final part of Transformers Devastation, Lani asks if there's ever been a Gundam that uses a hammer, and Kirran responds that the closest thing he can think of is the mace-wielding Barbatos from Anime/MobileSuitGundamIronBloodedOrphans, which hadn't started airing at the time that episode was recorded. IBO would eventually give Lani exactly what he wanted by introducing the Gundam Gusion, which uses an honest-to-Thor hammer.

Trope disambig'd per TRS. Don't link it anywhere.

* FaceOfTheBand:
** The trio of Kaiser, Lani, and Taka, who were the main writers for the group’s keystone project and do the bulk of the Let's Plays and TFS Updates, as well as the earliest [=DBCember=] countdowns.
** In terms of TFS Gaming, it's the trio of Lani, Kirran, and Grant, who are present for the vast majority of the games (sometimes with guests like Howard during Kingdom Hearts, and sometimes with absences as necessary due to RealLife).

* CrossesTheLineTwice: From their Battle Tendency parody, Rudol von Stroheim gets gorily disemboweled by monstrous squirrel. It would be absolutely horrifying if it happened to anyone else, but since this is Stroheim we're talking about...
-->Stroheim: OH GOD HELP ME! OH JESUS, GOD, OH FUCK! PLEASE SOMEBODY! IT'S TEARING OUT MY INSIDES! THEY ARE METAL BUT THEY'RE CONNECTED TO MY NERVOUS SYSTEM! THE SCIENTISTS REMOVED THE ABILITY TO GO INTO SHOCK! I CAN'T STOP FEELING EVERY CLAW AND BITE!\\
Smoky Brown: [grins ear to ear] I was gonna sit this one out... but I'm glad I didn't.

Added DiffLines:

** The team gets occasional heat from Dragon Ball fans over how [=DBZA=] has affected the perception of things in the original series and the discussions around them. Common things cited are things like: Goku being a bad dad, Piccolo being a better father figure than him, and other things. On the other side of the spectrum, there are also fans who overly praise the team and consider most of the series, specials, and movies as the definitive version of the series and quote them endlessly. Both sides will bring about heated discussions online. For what it's worth, even [=TFS=] admits that the way they did some things weren't great in hindsight and regret them, even taking some responsibility for how parts of the fandom see Goku as a bad father. They also repeatedly state that [=DBZA=] is intended as a parody of Z, isn't intended to replace it, and recommend fans of the Abridged version to check out the original version of the show, which is stated in the disclaimers at the beginnings of every episode, special, and movie.

Author Saving Throw requires word of god and no longer a YMMV trope. Irl creators can't be troped.

* AuthorsSavingThrow: After the controversy surrounding the team covering up their TotalPartyKill in the VideoGame/PokemonEmerald Nuzlocke, the footage of said wipe was made available, showing exactly how the guys lost. Likewise, for those still upset about them continuing the Nuzlocke after their loss, the end of the video shows .

** Grant (By The Way) Smith. He joined up on one of their streams for Bloodborne streams and was funny enough to the point where the chat requested for him to appear more often. Grant has since become a regular in the LetsPlay videos.
---> "I'm Grant, by the way."
** Puddin, in spades, likely because of her moe look and adorkable nature. She was made by TFS during their stream of Xenoverse 2[='s=] closed beta and was intended to be replaced (presumably by Dumplin) in their playthrough of the full game, but before the livestream even ended she quickly became a fan-favorite, garnering plenty of fanart and motivating fans to request that TFS keep her for the full game. Needless to say, TFS is aware of Puddin's sudden popularity and indirectly confirmed at the very end of the livestream that she will be kept for their full Xenoverse 2 playthrough.

Were Still Relevant Dammit is not a trope anymore

* WereStillRelevantDammit: Their "Abridgimon: The Movie" April Fool's video can best be described as one big TakeThat against the Fine brothers' controversial React World proposition; this would've worked quite well if not for the fact that the Fines had already cancelled their plans for React World approximately two months prior and that the whole controversy surrounding it more or less died down as a result.
