** The snakes appear in the current Reputation Stadium Tour, and one is a giant mechanical snake with glowing red eyes. If you are going but have a fear of snakes, then good luck.

** {{WebVideo/Todd In The Shadows}} offered another interpretation of the song "Mean," particularly the line "Someday I'll be big enough so you can't hit me." He interprets the line as Taylor believing that once she was super-famous, nobody would be critical of her and she'd never be hurt again, which he points out is unrealistic.

* EnsembleDarkhorse: The Swifties just can't get enough of Olivia and Meredith, Taylor's cats. Unsurprisingly, neither can Taylor.

* SeasonalRot: Critics and some fans consider ''reputation'' to be the weakest album she produced yet, considering a majority of the songs to have poor hooks and lack her trademark descriptive lyrics.

* NeverLiveItDown: She is perhaps best known, particularly in her {{Hatedom}} for writing {{Breakup Song}}s about her exes. The [=#KimExposedTaylor=] kerfulle with Kanye West and Creator/KimKardashian is another big one, so much so that influenced much of ''reputation''.

The [=#KimExposedTaylor=] kerfulle with Kanye West and Creator/KimKardashian is another big an interesting one, so much so that influenced much of ''reputation''.''reputation''. It definitely took over public opinion, but whether it's this for Taylor or a FrameUp is highly controversial.

** She also got some of this with her appearance on the cover of ''Time'' in 2017 as one of "The Silence Breakers" as part of the rise against sexual harrassment (along with Ashley Judd, Susan Fowler, Adama Iwu,Isabel Pascual, and one other victim whose identity was intentionally hidden with only one of her elbows visible). Needless to say, this backlash ''definitely'' generates even more backlash. [[RuleOfCautiousEditingJudgement No more has to be said on the point.]]

** She got a bit of [[http://www.vulture.com/2015/07/taylor-swift-nicki-minaj-twitter-rant.html backlash]] when she inserted herself into the conversation when the MTV VMA nominations were released and Music/NickiMinaj was grumpily venting about a pattern of black artists not getting MTV recognition and Nicki never even mentioned her.
** Taylor pulling her music off of Spotify for royalty reasons didn't make her any fans, to say the least. Her discography has since been put back in its entirety.
** Her rather juvenile response to Creator/TinaFey and Creator/AmyPoehler's joke about her at the Golden Globes had this reaction among some.

** She got a bit of [[http://www.vulture.com/2015/07/taylor-swift-nicki-minaj-twitter-rant.html backlash]] when she inserted herself into the conversation when the MTV VMA nominations were released released. Exactly who is in the right is debated and surefire way to start a ''massive'' shit storm (Detractors argue that Music/NickiMinaj was grumpily venting about a pattern of black artists not getting MTV recognition and Nicki never even mentioned her.
her. People in favor of Taylor Swift point out Nicki had not mention race once and that the comments seemed heavily pointed at Taylor Swift, given the reference of a "skinny girl" getting a nomination that Nicki did not)

* CriticProof: An odd example. Although none of her albums have ever been savaged (until ''[[SeasonalRot reputation]]''), Taylor's shift in genre from "wholesome" Country to aggressive Pop has been divisive to say nothing else. Her response? To openly mock her perceived "haters". One could argue her whole career carries on a similar example as it seems whenever she is criticised, she turns it into a song that tops the charts.

** Speaking of "Blank Space," is Taylor genuine when she says it's a parody of how the media portrays her as a BitchInSheepsClothing, or did she only realize this in hindsight after writing sincere reflective lyrics and decided to call it a joke?
** There's also been one interpretation for "Blank Space" where the song is Swift giving her boyfriend fair-warning: if he tries cheating on her or doing anything to abuse their relationship, she'll show him just how nasty and {{Yandere}} she can be.
** If we're going by Taylor herself and the songs she chooses to write, her numerous scandals, and other things juxtaposed by her upbringing and personas over the years as a result of her marketing, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vf1IyGll_wc&t=356s this video]] perfectly points out how her lyrics in songs about the same subject from different albums point to her having self-destructive behavior, as a result of her being a teen idol first, then aging passed that and changing, yet not for the better in some people's opinions. All of the accusations of her purposely doing things to sabotage her own life are perfectly valid if this is how you perceive her, or if this is how Taylor perceives herself; that she needs to continually sabotage herself so that she can write songs about her scandals and put them all out as if she's put them behind her, or that she has control over herself, when, in reality, she doesn't really have it.
