It just comes up out of ''[[GiantSpaceFleaFromNowhere nowhere]]'' and has a legitimately creepy [[NonStandardCharacterDesign design]] that looks more like an [[Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion Angel]] than the regular cast of colorful cartoon characters. In other words, something that has ''no'' business being in a comic this ridiculous and laughable. The fact that [[NothingIsScarier we never learn anything about where it is or where it came from]] just makes it all the worse.

** Captioning gay (or [[HoYay percieved as gay]]) characters with Bugs' explanation[[note]]"I used to be trolled but I found out a way to stop it. I do all kinds of stupid and gay shit. they cant troll you if you dress up as a girl and kiss them. I dont like doing it but it works."[[/note]] of how he fends off trolls.

* MoralEventHorizon: Pretty much every single Troll with any known kills to their name probably crossed this at one point. Shadow crosses it in his attempts to kill Trolls just because he wants to, [[spoiler: even wiping out a completely innocent village because he didn't bother to check if they were actually Trolls or not.]] And the [[spoiler: Cheeto Man]] crossed it long before the story started, but solidifies himself as a CompleteMonster when we see [[spoiler: the hooker ditch filled with any and all female sex workers of his that acquire any sort of STD. ''With Amy's relatively-fresh, gored corpse in the pile as an afterthought'' because of his vengeance over contracting one himself.]]

** Knuckles getting an STD from a threesome with Rouge the Bat and Donkey Kong? Tasteless, albeit rather funny (and completely absurd). This turning out to be [[spoiler:a ''[[ChekhovsGag major part of his plan]]'']] is some kind of twisted genius.

* HolyShitQuotient: At first everything just seems like some weird usage of Sonic and Mario characters to murder trolls, and anime things pop up. Then everything escalates to the point that reading the story blind is bound to elicit at least one "holy shit", followed by more to come on a per chapter basis. The fact that AnyoneCanDie and the plot is filled with ShockingSwerve only accentuates this.

** One panel showing an extreme close-up of [[WesternAnimation/TomAndJerry Tom]] looking very concerned became very popular as a reaction image meme for poorly planned or ill-fated actions,, like [[https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/001/469/679/d47.jpg this one here.]]

** Shadow gets another one where he opts to [[spoiler: drop a black hole on a village, complete with the gory visuals of the denizens having their flesh ripped off of their bodies before being consumed.]] We then [[MoodWhiplash immediately]] find out that [[spoiler: it wasn't a troll village, Shadow just blew up a completely innocent place on pure spur of the moment anger impulses.]] [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone Shadow is horrified into silence,]] while Knuckles just walks off proclaiming he's done with this shit and gonna go get high.

* TearJerker:
** [[spoiler: Sonic's death.]]
** Everything that [[spoiler: Porky goes through. His wife leaves him after he drunkedly cheats on her, then he finds out his parents were killed and turned into bacon. When he goes to call out his friends for making this happen to him, his wife returns, only to get shot in the head, along with her child. Is it any wonder why he [[DrivenToSuicide hanged himself]] after all of this?]]
** [[spoiler: Sylvester's HeroicSacrifice for Tom.]]
** [[spoiler: Amy crying after finding out that Sonic was killed.]] And to make it worse, [[spoiler: this was right after their relationship went sour.]]
*** Even worse, Lazerbot eventually spoke up about this entire arc being inspired by [[WriteWhoYouKnow something that happened to someone he knew.]] It says a lot that the entire plot of [[spoiler: Amy being raped by Eggman and becoming a DeathSeeker]] is played ''dead serious'' as if to highlight just how Lazbot's writing out of experience and a sort of painful understanding of it all.
** [[spoiler:The [[WhamShot hooker ditch]]]] in chapter 20. Words cannot describe the combination of this, NauseaFuel, and NightmareFuel.

* FunnyAneurysmMoment: It's honestly harder at this point to count the quotes from the earliest parts of the story's FountainOfMemes that ''aren't'' subject to FridgeHorror or a CerebusRetcon.

* HarsherInHindsight:
** Sonic's "i'm gonna go have sex with my girlfriend so i'm not so mad" line is [[MemeticMutation comedy gold]]. [[spoiler: Then we find out that Eggman [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil raped Amy for possibly years]] and Sonic immediately going to Amy for some sort of comfort after that scene destroyed their already-strained relationship.]] It even re-contextualizes his Dark Super Sonic transformation.
** On a similar note, Knuckles ComfortingTheWidow towards [[spoiler: Amy after Sonic's death]] is given a rather swift WhatTheHellHero by Shadow and forgotten about. [[spoiler: Then we find out about the aforementioned rape, which even Knuckles hadn't known about the entire time, ''and'' it turns out he was in love with her. Something only fully expressed shortly before her death. Even worse, when they do have sex [[ItMakesSenseInContext to give her the clap]], all Amy can see in her depressed stupor is Sonic, further cementing the tragedy.]]

* ViewerGenderConfusion: Alex the Emo Troll. Some people unknown with the comic have commented on him being a girl.

* AssPull: There are comics where the writer tries to pay off things that were not set up earlier, there are comics where the writers are clearly making it up [[WritingByTheSeatOfYourPants on the fly]], there are comics where the writers make things up to [[DeusExMachina write themselves out of a corner]], and then there are comics where the writer [[UpToEleven throws a lasso round this trope and rides it like a waterskiier across a lake]]. ''Tails Gets Trolled'' is the latter kind of comic, and it's [[TropesAreNotBad all the more hilarious because of it.]]
* SugarWiki/AwesomeArt: [[ZigZaggingTrope Is it possible]] for a comic to straddle this trope and its [[OffModel exact opposite]] simultaneously? Most of the comic is amateurish at best, but for MS paint webcomics, it's got some ''damned'' impressive fight scenes. ** The Weed Party seems fairly innocuous by all means until Knuckles [[spoiler: enacts his plan against the Cheeto Man]], but what most fail to notice is a ParanoiaFuel-inducing surprise: [[spoiler: Ronald McDonald was hiding in a number of backgrounds, silently and creepily observing Tails the entire time.]]
