** Uriel is actually quite a complex villain, who seems motivated by anger at their absent father and affection for his long-lost brother Lucifer. Given what we learn about God and Heaven's angels in later episodes, he could have been a very rich and interesting antagonist. Uriel and Castiel, after all, have shades of Lucifer and Michael in them, just like Sam and Dean.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: Anna starts to shape up into an interesting character in this episode, complete with ActionGirl moments, a ShipTease with Castiel that could lead to a [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/TriangeRelationships/TypeEight love triangle]] with Dean and some interesting character development. But one of the good angels had to go, apparently.
