* TierInducedScrappy: Leia falls into this in the Shield Generator level in ''Super Return of the Jedi''. Han Solo has grenades as a special attack and a dodge roll while Chewie's special move is a SpinAttack. Leia, who had a double jump attack and a spin attack in previous levels (while in her Boushh and Slave outfits), no longer has access to those moves (she only has a blaster for this level) and her only defining characteristic is having a longer life bar. However, the longer life bar is rendered moot with the life extending items that can randomly spawn regardless of who you choose.

* PolishedPort: The unreleased, but finished PC-DOS port has better sound quality (including the soundtracks), better graphics, redesigned levels primarily to reduce difficulty, and exclusive contents such as exclusive boss fight theme. About the only caveat is probably the final level is turned into a harder third person obstacle course instead of the first person cockpit shooting gallery.

** In the same game, the two levels that force you to play as an Ewok. Not only does the Ewok make annoying sounds every time he jumps or gets damaged, his weapon, a bow and arrow, is the worst due to its slow rate of fire compared to a blaster. He also has no special abilities compared to Luke or the other characters. The levels you have to use the Ewok in have tons of jumping and climbing sections and some of the climbing portions force you to shoot arrows into tree trunks to make improvised platforms.
