** Dan's ending counts as this, given that he receives an ''extremely'' mean-spirited letter from Sakura where she calls his entire fighting style completely useless and that all of it's techniques "look retarded", topped off with her cheerfully calling Dan a loser, especially since the two are usually portrayed as being on great terms with each other.

**On the other end, Sakura's aerial grab has her mount the opponent and drop them to the ground while sitting on their face, looking a bit flustered by her own move afterwards. Fighters hit by this also get a lovestruck look on their face and hearts in their eyes, meaning both the guys and the girls seemingly enjoyed getting sat on by Sakura.

** When Ryu's Hadoken is fully leveled up, it turns into a larger electric projectile capable of multiple hits and increased stun (much like the Denjin Hadoken), which is more or less how Ryu's Denjin Renki V-Trigger in ''VideoGame/StreetFighterV'' functions. Similarly, Ken's flame-attribute attacks here would be mirrored by his EX moves and Heat Rush V-Trigger in ''V'', notably his use of the Shakunetsu Hadoken that usually goes to Ryu.

* HilariousInHindsight: Ibuki's kunai throw and Kasumi Suzaku moves have her briefly change into [[VideoGame/FinalFight Rolento's]] outfit. Then comes ''VideoGame/StreetFighterXTekken'' which has Rolento as a playable character, and guess who he's paired up with. (It's not Sodom.) Also in her ending, she encounters Guy. In the opening of ''Super VideoGame/StreetFighterIV'', she's once again tangling with Guy.

Come ''[[VideoGame/MarvelVsCapcom3 Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3]]'', Ryu gains a SuperMode known as Hado Kakusei, and if he uses his Shinku Tatsumaki Senpukyaku while in this state, the attack creates a ''thunderstorm''.

Crowning Moment of Funny

* CrowningMomentOfFunny: The whole game! But most notably doing any of the more comical moves on Akuma (Such as Chun-Li's Love Letter move) and watching his reactions, which happen to be the same as everyone else's.
** Performing Akuma or Dan's special grab (via normal means or Flash Combo), which will cause the victim to JawDrop and be petrified. The JawDrop animation is incredibly funny to watch, and yes, Akuma can jawdrop too.
** Chun-Li's aforementioned Love Letter special grab where she dons a schoolgirl outfit and, in typical high school anime teen girl fashion, shyly hands her opponent a love letter while giggling, stunning them and amazing them, even sprouting heart eyes. ''This can even happen to AKUMA''. Also worth noting is that in case Chun-Li missed, she'll also pout, complete with a heartbroken word bubble.
** Dan's Super Taunt is back and is practically channeling nearly ''every'' funny face he could muster, including covered with ink (which can be achieved if he's hit with Ibuki's Down+Circle attack), his JawDrop, flattened to ground, Elvis dancing, etc.
** Dan's ending. He takes Sakura as his student and teaches her Saikyo-Ryu Karate. Then a few days later she mails him a letter saying she unlearned it because it looks retarded and useless
