The issue of how massive, both emotional and physical, burden it is to take care for dementive person is also portrayed through the pink-tinted glasses.
** The ending is particularly guilty of this. Alice is barely there and can barely express herself, but this is presented as something fantastic and what's supposed to make audience feel good. YMMV indeed.
