* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: Krystal was originally meant to be the Deuteragonist but was reduced to being a DamselInDistress, General Scales could have been a threatening villain but , and this game's version of the fight probably would have been considered a BestBossEver in a more traditional Star Fox game... too bad this isn't.

* CompleteMonster: Through all of the characterization he gets, General Scales is never shown to be anything but pure evil. For example, when Fox shoots at him, his first instinct is to grab one of his own soldiers and use him as a shield. Even his soldiers are shown casually beating people like wild animals, including the Cloud-Runner queen and Tricky, who is a kid.

Those complaints about Tricky are not objective. He\'s just a kid, and there are fans who understand this. And as for Krystal, being hated by some fans is not enough to go into Scrappy territory. She\'s also loved by other fans for various reasons. They both belong in Base Breaker.

* BaseBreaker: Tricky and Krystal

* TheScrappy: Tricky. My god, Tricky. Think of him with the personality of CD-I Link, combined with the constant shouts reminiscent of Navi, and you get this guy.
** Krystal is this to some fans.

* ThatOneLevel: Let's see, there's the Krazoa Test of Fear which will make even the most patient gamers toss their controllers in a fit of rage, then the Lightfoot Test of Strength which only the most button-mashing-happy will have some chance of beating it the first time off (which ironically the reward of beating this will give you access to aforementioned Krazoa test), or the egg thieves (until you learn that the easy way to beat it is to use your Groundquake, which miraculously doesn't crush the very eggs you're supposed to protect).

\"Please only add examples that are presented In-universe. When it comes to this trope in Real Life, this descriptor applies to literally everything. No matter how universal the affection for something may seem, there is someone, somewhere who doesn\'t care for it. The only way to cover all the possible examples would be to write \"Everything ever, to some extent\", so Real Life examples aren\'t necessary. \" It is in the Love It Or Hate It last paragraph
