Redundant wording.

* {{Padding}}: The show has a rather slow pace sometimes. Other times they'll fill 11 minutes by adding part of the theme song to the episode ("Comic Book" in particular had to use the whole song to fill its 11-minute runtime).

This isn't necessary and makes the example sound like complaining.

* DesignatedHero: Samosa not liking how Cham Cham can be quite nasty towards him is understandable, but some of the things Samosa does to his rival are... questionable. In "Makkhi Makkhi", he bullies Cham Cham by scaring him into thinking there's a fly on his back, and in "Patang Hurdang", he doesn't bother to help Cham Cham down to the ground when he is lifted far into the air by kites, even after helping Vada from the same situation. In both instances, it's supposed to be funny since the two are constantly at each others' throats, even though Cham Cham did nothing wrong beforehand.

* BizarroEpisode: Even by this show's ''WesternAnimation/SpongeBobSquarePants''-esque standards, "Kasturi Khushbu" comes off as outright surreal. The entire plot is that Samosa wants to find some smell he sensed while he was sleeping. To do this, he ''goes around the world just to sniff people''. Better yet, the episode culminates in [[spoiler:Samosa making a speech at a United Nations conference and being greeted by all the attendees farting - which, by the way, is the smell he's after. ''Then'' he winds up sleeping on the ground almost completely naked and sniffs his own fart, to which Jalebi replies that he had that scent with him the whole time]].

If you know your Japanese language, however, you might also recognize it as the beginning of a Japanese tongue twister - "Sumomo mo momo, momo mo momo, sumomo mo momo mo momo no uchi."[[labelnote:Translation]]"A Japanese plum is a kind of peach, a peach is also a peach, both Japanese plum and peach are kinds of peaches."[[/labelnote]]

First one might be too specific, and the second might be too general for either to be properly Hilarious in Hindsight.

* HilariousInHindsight:
** The episode "Khelo Samosa" from Season 2. The idea of an often-criticized cartoon starring a brown-colored anthropomorphic food item having an episode where he and his friends have to complete a video game where one of the objectives is to save a male supporting character who is dressed as a princess is not new; the ''WesternAnimation/CoconutFredsFruitSaladIsland'' episode "Sir Nut-a-Lot" did it first. (For added bonus points, the ''Coconut Fred'' episode was aired as part of what was billed as a second season.)
** For that matter, ''WesternAnimation/VeggieTales'' used the concept of an anthropomorphic food facing another, much stronger one in a wrestling match long before ''Simple Samosa'' did. It's specifically SumoWrestling, which ''Simple Samosa'''s own Sumo Momo is supposed to represent aesthetically.

* IdiotPlot: The episode "Doctor D" is about Dhokla taking his first visit to another country. When he arrives at the country, he starts to send so many messages to the others about it that it borders on spamming them, which understandably frustrates them.\\
'''You'd Expect:''' With Dhokla being one of Samosa's best friends, you'd probably expect him, along with Jalebi and Vada, to silence their phones so that the notifications won't bother them while not running a major risk of angering Dhokla.\\
'''Instead:''' They go the extra mile and ''block Dhokla'', straining their friendship with him and setting off the primary plot point of the episode where he becomes the celebrity Doctor D. Samosa, Jalebi, and Vada do eventually find Dhokla and forgive him for having blocked him, but that still leaves no excuse for them nearly losing one of their friends for the sake of getting some peace from those incessant notifications.

* AmericansHateTingle: It's a show about Indian food items, so it's to be expected that some Americans aren't interested in it. It does have a couple American fans if you know where to look, but it's mostly unknown in the States. The small handful of comments from Americans on Disney India's [=YouTube=] uploads of ''Simple Samosa'' content are primarily negative, due to the amount of glaring flaws present.

This trope is apparently now labeled as flame bait, which shouldn't be on a YMMV page at all.

* WhatAnIdiot:
** In "Sumo Momo", Sumo Momo flings a man onto the sidewalk, leaving him severely injured. Samosa's reaction is to ''cheer for Sumo Momo while completely ignoring the poor man''.
** In "Jalebi's Birthday", Vada asks Jalebi for help getting off of an escalator that has stopped working. Even taking into account that [[spoiler:it was a set-up to lead Jalebi to her surprise birthday party]], he easily could have just walked up or down the escalator himself with minimal effort.

Slightly rewording this example to sound less like complaining.

* SoOkayItsAverage: This show has never been hugely successful outside of India and certainly has its share of flaws, but that doesn't prevent legitimate fans from popping up. Even some of the fans often regard it as mediocre, but with a little potential and merit.

From the trope's page itself: "[...]anything related to a widespread disease, basic hygiene, hoarding of any kind, or something similar to social distancing doesn't inherently mean that there's a connection to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Please don't add examples of this nature."

* FunnyAneurysmMoment: In the 2018 episode "Chhote Rajaji", a spiciness epidemic affects Chatpata Nagar. The town is helpless as no one knows a cure for the disease. Everyone waits in long lines at the hospital, and most notably, they wear masks to protect themselves. Two years later, an ''actual'' [[UsefulNotes/CoronavirusDisease2019Pandemic pandemic]] caused immense overcrowding at hospitals and everyone to be required to wear masks.

* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: Samosa, egotistical though he may be, is still well-intentioned... which begs the question of why he still does things that make it hard to sympathize with him.
** Right in the first episode, he ignores a man who is ''severely injured and clearly desperate for help'' and instead cheers for Sumo Momo, the very person who hurt the man.
** In "Doctor D", he - along with Jalebi and Vada - block Dhokla on social media to stop his spamming even though Dhokla had no ill will in his spamming. [[SarcasmMode They're such nice friends!]]
** In "Patang Hurdang", he makes Cham Cham fly dangerously high into the air by giving him a bunch of kites and does nothing to help him.
