I don\'t normally do this, but I have to take issue with the new edits for Broken Base and Spotlight Stealing Squad. These entries don\'t read like they\'re something \"fans\" think, they read like Taroumaru bothered \'\'one\'\' fan who decided everybody felt the same way. Complaining about the girls talking about their dog \'\'at his funeral\'\' is less criticism and more callousness, if not sociopathy. Deleting both entries.

** The presence of Taroumaru for manga readers, especially during the finale. Specifically how, despite being partially zombiefied, he still manages to save Yuki from getting surrounded outside the radio room. Even after he later in the finale, the girls still comment on how awesome and helpful he was.

* SpotlightStealingSquad: Taroumaru, for manga readers who watched the finale.

Also someone has been on /a/ too long, as that addition reflects the usual whining from there (and Reddit) completely. This does NOT make it popular opinion.

* DarknessInducedAudienceApathy: A bit justified, this SliceOfLife ZombieApocalypse series is written by a person who works with Creator/Nitroplus. It also doesn't help to note that the girls are already mentally broken from the zombie apocalypse, one of the girls being very oblivious to the situation. The MoodDissonance factor also makes it hard to relate to the characters or take the Tearjerker and horror aspects of the anime seriously.

This is ignoring something that even the manga and anime acknowledged from the VERY BEGINNING: that the girls (Yuri and Kurumi) are not psychologists, and they don\'t have the capability to cure Yuki of her delusions. They\'re making the best of a bad situation, and at that point there was nothing they could do but wait for Yuki to come out of it on her own. And she does — chapter 31 onward prove this.

School-Live is actually quite popular among English-speaking fans, and it is one of the most-discussed series of the Summer 2015 season. Even if some series may be more popular, SL still does have a large fanbase too.

* BrokenBase: Due to the MoodDissonance factor to the series, fans are heavily divided on the series itself. Some enjoy the dissonance factor since it deconstructs the SchoolgirlSeries SliceOfLife genre by keeping the traditional moe and cheery elements of a traditional slice of life while reminding the readers and viewers of the post-apocalyptic zozmbie apocalypse horror atmosphere. Others feel that the cutesy slice of life factor takes away the horror aspects of the series and it makes relatively difficult to sympathize with several characters (especially for Yuki's PTSD).

** HEALING ANIME. The production was so successful in fooling people that the show was going to be a relaxing Manga Time Kirara romp, that the reveal at the end of the first episode shocked watchers who weren't familiar with the manga's premise to begin with. The fact that it was written by a contemporary of Butch Gen at NitroPlus, and comparisons with the latter's work Madoka Magica and its own use of dissonant themes became VERY easy.

Not intentional on the part of whoever wrote the original lyrics.

** Also some parts of the opening lyrics can be interpreted in quite a dark way because of a wordplay. Whether this is intentional on the writers' part or just a wild 2ch guess will not be clear until the opening's single is released and everyone can see the original lyrics.
