** The "Dimitr" in Dimitrescu is derived from "Demeter", and has many alternate spellings, one of which being ''Demitri''... a name already associated to vampires [[VideoGame/{{Darkstalkers}} due to a different Capcom series]].

* FanartAtFirstSight: Early promotional material featured [[OurVampiresAreDifferent Lady Dimistrecu]], one of the game's main villains. Fans of the series and people unconnected to the series were enamored by her endowment and amazonian height, leading to art quickly appearing. It didn't hurt that a lot of ''Village'' advertisement to the lead up was based around her--ironically, Lady Dimitrescu is the ''first'' boss the player encounters and ends up out of the story relatively quickly.

**The DLC Shadows of Rose could have been a perfect opportunity to explore the past of the titular Village and explore the backstories of the different lords more in-depth, as the Megamycete houses the memories of those affected by it. Instead, much of the plot instead focuses' on Rose's angst and personal issues with little else. Adding salt to the would is the fact that, by all accounts, Rose was mostly a plot device and rather minor character in the main story, since she was a baby who could not affect anything (albeit being relevant to and serving as a central driver for the plot) while the Lords were all major villains.

* EvilIsSexy: The game's getting ''infamous'' for the sex-appeal of its villains. While there is no shortage of gross, gooey monsters in ''Village'', the Four Lords (except for [[CreepyDoll Angie]] and [[FishPeople poor]] [[{{Gonk}} Moreau]]) prove that evil is not purely the domain of the wretched. To wit:
** As soon as the trailers put more focus on the towering, Tyrant-sized, attractive, well-endowed and well-dressed Lady Dimitrescu, she became insanely popular in the fandom and an area of focus in online discussion even outside the fandom. Dimitrescu's profile on the game's official site even mentions her "bewitching looks". Likewise, Dimitrescu's daughters, while not focused on as much as her, also receive some notice with their intimidatingly appealing, CuteMonsterGirl allure.
** Donna Beneviento has gotten a small following after fans saw her portrait in her manor [[spoiler:and her model, which reveals her to be a fairly attractive young woman who only has mold scarring over her right eye, leaving the rest of her face surprisingly normal.]]
** Heisenberg's scruffy looks, rugged charm, and surprising charisma has won over a fair share of fans as well. It probably helps that he has an extremely unique power even by ''Resident Evil'' standards [[spoiler:and people can sympathize with his goal of freeing himself from Miranda, even if he's willing to use Rose as a weapon to do it.]]
** Mother Miranda herself is quite the looker, with her sleek black clothes, attractive pointed face and sultry eyes evoking the image of a HotWitch.

** Moreau is even worse, as you must defeat him in ''less than a '''whole minute'''''. This is difficult because, as note directly below, Moreau is considered ThatOneBoss since he doesn't give players a clear opening of his weakpoint. To clarify, Moreau usually won't outright reveal his weakpoint unless you do a substantial amount of damage to him, and when he ''does'', he moves sporadically which can make it difficult to properly aim. None of that is even getting into his fast and often deadly attacks.

** Much like Bela, Heisenberg jumps from being a pushover on lower difficulties to an absolute menace on Village of Shadows. His increased strength and durability make the flaws in the tank - namely the its slowness, weaker guard, and inability to heal - far more apparent, as only three or four mistakes will result in death in a much longer fight, and the tank also means you cannot cheese the fight with a powerful gun like you could the aforementioned Bela or Moreau. The result is a hectic game of maneuvering and keeping your distance or else you may find yourself in a position where Heisenberg will unavoidably hit and possibly kill you.

This trope isn't just "woman has big breasts". Hartman Hips is when the bust is small and the hips wide.

** Following the epilogue of the main game, [[spoiler:there was the very heavy implication that Rosemary was Eveline reborn, giving the TragicMonster a chance at a better life - though Rose is oddly snippy at being called "Eveline". Come the ''Shadows of Rosemary'' DLC, we find out why: Rose and Evie are ''not'' the same being despite the former inheriting the latter's powers, and Evie's consciousness still persists in the Megamycete. Worse, she tries to ''kill'' Rose, upset that Ethan and Miranda "replaced" her despite Rose herself not knowing anything about it until the end of the DLC. What could've been a RedemptionQuest for the tormented child was torpedoed by the child herself, ensuring she will only be remembered as a monster.]]
