He later decides that Sonny is too soft and has him thrown out of the gang, later beating him up along with Blackjack. When Blackjack tells the gang that they will seal all of the town's money and kill everyone, Cavin states that he intends to rape Rose like he originally tried to do. Finally, he [[spoiler:kills his nephew]] during the final showdown.

** Also, Doc Holliday's death was of a lingering illness that everyone had known he had for years (and had visibly impaired him for years), and yet he's standing right over there and ''perfectly healthy''. Tubercolosis had no cure in that time; you have to assume a miracle from God happened just to explain why he's not coughing.

He beats [[TheProtagonist Sonny Miller]] up and tries to kill him when he tries to defend the town.

* FridgeLogic: How does Blackjack know the townsfolk are dead? He recognizes some as famous outlaws ''said'' to be dead, but surely the first conclusion would be that reports of their deaths had been exaggerated.

* FridgeBrilliance: Everyone in that town is dead. Why can living people reach it? Blackjack's gang is implied not to be the first party to pass through. It must be to provide more temptation - the townsfolk have to resist the urge to drink and gamble despite the perfectly good saloon in town, but no one there would be willing to start a fight. Outsiders, not restricted by the threat of Hell, can challenge that temptation.

** Also, Doc Holliday's death was of a lingering illness that everyone had known he had for years (and had visibly impaired him for years), and yet he's standing right over there and ''perfectly healthy''. And Hickock's brains were blown out of his head in front of several dozen witnesses. A 'faked their death' scenario can be invoked for some of the people in that town, but for those two its not tenable.
