** Seymour the Scientist being evacuated to space by the Clefairy; despite how much he had dreamed of such a thing in the past he weeps, [[YouCantGoHomeAgain for it comes at the cost that he'll never be able to return home to Earth again.]] Additionally, the Clefairy mention to him that they're bringing a few humans with them for the purposes of potentially restarting the human race somewhere else. [[DeconstructedTrope Far from being happy about this]], Seymour panics, worrying about all the horrible what-ifs (his lack of experience with women or parenting, the possibility that the woman they chose will hate him, etc.) and is terrified that humanity could end up dying out because of him.

** There are plenty of cases where Pokémon fight alongside armed humans and in at least one case, use firearms. Now look at what ''VideoGame/PalWorld'' has to offer...

* MagnificentBastard: Uxie, he may be an emotionless little monster organizing a genocide ForScience, but seeing him effortlessly create masterful plots and gambits with complete nonchalance, NervesOfSteel, while treating every game changing scientific advancement and atrocity he commits like it was just a normal day of the week really has got to make you admire him. * CompleteMonster: Ho-oh starts off as a WellIntentionedExtremist, wanting to make a utopia for Pokemon by only killing off Humans and trying to limit collateral damage. He goes from that to this trope once he starts engaging in things like [[WithUsOrAgainstUs killing Pokémon]] simply because they don't agree with him and destroying the environment.
