** His review of the {{Crossover}} episode of ''Series/PowerRangersInSpace'' with ''Series/NinjaTurtlesTheNextMutation'' is interesting because it presents such a radical antithesis to the perspective of ''WebVideo/HistoryOfPowerRangers'' by Creator/LewisLovhaug on the same, mostly because Phelous admits to not having nearly the same degree of nostalgic attachment to ''Power Rangers'' as a property. Whether this means he's providing a more "objective" perspective or just refusing to take the show on its own merits is up to the viewer. Notably, while ''History'' tends to be more complementary of Bulk and Skull, thanks to their multi-series CharacterDevelopment and status as [[EnsembleDarkhorse fan favorites]] and elder statesmen who at that point had been on the show longer than anyone else, Phelous complains that he finds them obnoxious comic relief who largely don't contribute anything to the story until the very end of the series.

** He caught some flack for his review of ''VideoGame/ResidentEvilVillage'' as most of his review showed clear bias against Ethan and how he just didn't like him as a main character with his criticism amounting to "Oh he's not as cool as the others in the series". ** Fans of ''WesternAnimation/GrandmaGotRunOverByAReindeer'' thought Phelous was being surprisingly unfair with the movie and just seem to dismiss every asset of it while not even pointing out any positives (even Goodtimes and ''Dingo Pictures'' got that much in his reviews) since unlike past Christmas movies he's covered like [[WesternAnimation/RapsittieStreetKidsBelieveInSanta Rapsittie Street Kids]] and WesternAnimation/TheChristmasTree, that this film at least had some effort put behind it. ** An entirely ''needless'' special effects failure occurred throughout much of ''Pulse 2,'' where actors were green-screened into scenes that they didn't even need to be, such as in front of houses and such.
