* WTHCastingAgency: Creator/DeanStockwell has a small role as one of Sen. Harrison's cronies. Made especially so by the fact that Stockwell was about as liberal as the filmmakers are conservative, being a dedicated environmentalist and lifelong Democrat. One can only assume he took the role [[MoneyDearBoy solely for the paycheck]].

* ValuesDissonance: Suffice it to say that unless you've already bought the movie's "Christians are persecuted" ideology, you won't enjoy it as much as someone who has, except maybe for NarmCharm purposes.

Even WebVideo/TheCinemaSnob, who made a character Stine played in the film ''Film/ChristmasWithACapitalC'' a RunningGag on his show due to how unsufferable he was, admitted that Stine was much better here.

In any other cheaply made religious movie like this, that moment could have failed so spectacularly, but James Remar's delivery of the line and the seriousness of the situation makes it possibly the most competently made seconds of the entire movie.
