* InformedWrongness: Naruto when he hit Hikaru. Hikaru spent the first thirty minutes of the movie acting like a BrattyHalfPint towards Naruto and even wanted to buy Naruto as a personal servant. When Naruto rightfully refuses, he hits him with one of his toy arrows, which finally cases Naruto to snap. What makes it even worse is that the one who punishes Naruto is Sakura, [[{{Hypocrite}} who has beaten on Naruto multiple times]] and [[WouldHurtAChild isn't above striking little kids either]], as Konohamaru can attest to.

* VindicatedByHistory: These days, people look back at this movie more fondly. At the very least, it's more memorable than the [[Anime/NarutoTheMovieLegendOfTheStoneOfGelel second movie]], which most forget even exists.

** Sure, Shabadaba is a HateSink; but he still gets this for his FailOSuckyname, his annoying dialogue, his shallow motivation and personality, and being a NonActionBigBad who just cheers and berates TheDragon from the sidelines. I.e., he's the ''Naruto'' version of [[Franchise/DragonBall Babidi]].

** Sure, Shabadaba is an intended HateSink; but he still manages to be this for his FailOSuckyname, his annoying dialogue, his shallow motivation and personality, and being a NonActionBigBad who just berates/cheers TheDragon from the sidelines.
